What is it w/ these MS271's? Mine is less than a year old and I'm having to take it apart because it is so hard to start. It was hard to start the day I bought it. Stihl quality has gone down.
I enjoy watching your videos, thanks for taking the time to make them. Some time if you get a chance, could you make a video on tuning a chainsaw using a tachometer?
Thanks for the video. Quick question . Is that the only way to slip the piston into the cylinder? Or can I just slip the cylinder down without taking anything else off.
I had the same issues with the same model. Stihl not warranting even though it’s under warranty cause the plastic around the muffler melted down. I brought it to a Stihl repair facility and they told me to use loctite. I was like hell no cause the warranty will get void. Bummed at Stihl for not taking care of the matter. They told me to go buy a new one cause it would cost just as much to repair.
Why when sharpening the chain, for example, you remove 1 mm from the right teeth, change the angle to the left and remove 2 mm. You have to configure. Usg. Is the center downed? I write through a translator)
i like u c.m. but unless i missed it,, i nvr saw the muffler removal,, which is why i got directed to your video "i didn't "like" but liked
Nice video! I needed that. Now lets see if I can get my job done. Thank you.

Watching this guy trying to round off that bolt is hurting my brain.
very poor workmanship
Why are you replacing the piston if it's just the muffler bolt hole striped why not just replace just the cylinder
Maybe piston is dammage
Is the a adjustment for the oiler on the farm boss 271 to increase the oil flow
Yes it is it will give the chain more oil when opened all the way up thanks for watching!
My 271 doesn't have a oil adjustment where is the adjustment at?
You should do a chain sharpening lesson for some of these people. Lol
Haha yeah that's not a bad idea 😄

Still told me flat bottom piston is for cylinder with round intake boot. Slipped bottom piston was for 3 bolt cylinder
Matt, would you share the part number of the special tools?
Been missing your videos 📹, hope all is well 🙏.
