What about if I need to change the rear coil, is the procedure the same showed in this video, it only needs to adjust the support heigth you put on the suspensiom arm?
if you need to replace the rear coil spring, yes, remove the shock absorber first, then remove the lower outer control arm bolt, nut and washer, you can place match marks prior to removing but I would recommend an alignment as that bolt/nut affects toe and camber. Hi, I would just like to ask what was the reason you were changing it? Mine is doing a squeaky creaking sound while rolling on the rear left wheel. Wondering what could it be I already serviced my brake drums shoes and even the axle bearing but still the noise is there. Hopefully could hear back from you. Thanks
Hello, I replaced the rear shocks because one was leaking oil, I think it was the driver's side. Not sure what could be the cause of your creaking sound while rolling the left rear wheel, I would advise to remove the drum and then rotate the wheel, eliminate that possibility, also check the backing plate to see if its not rubbing against the drum, usually creaking noises are control arm and/or sway bar bushings, mind as well check those while you are in there, sorry, best I can do, hope you can figure the noise out. I replaced the shocks in 2018 with only 14,000 miles on the odometer. I replaced them with OE Suzuki shocks. I just noticed that both rear shocks were seeping and I am in the process of replacing them again, this time I went to rockauto and purchased KYB's. My odometer is at 19,500 miles. I don't drive the vehicle much so maybe its just time that the shocks wear out. Conversely, my front struts show no leaks/seepage at all. Hope you are enjoying your 2007, they are great vehicles.
Hey there, about to replace my suspension amd control arms on my JT 2011 GV, where did you get the torque specs from? I'm very Affraid of over/under tightening the bolts. Pls and thank you
My 2006 suzuki grand vitara..when driving im hearing a squeeky noise in side the vehicle in my rear back .. its definitely not the door or wheel cover!
squeaks can be a challenge to diagnose, I would maybe recommend another person go on a test drive with you and sit in the back, maybe they can pinpoint it, other than that you may need to obtain those remote microphones to pinpoint the noise, hope you find the cause, thanks for watching.

Thanks for the very informative video. I have a problem with water collecting when I use the AC on my Grand Vitara may be due to a plug drain. The problem is I can’t seem to have access to the drain so I can unplug it. Do you have any suggestions ?
There should be a drain hose attached from the lower HVAC case that goes to the underneath of the vehicle, try unplugging it and blowing air/water through it, also, I would remove the in-cabin air filter and check its condition, if its really plugged then I would replace it and then even go as far as removing the blower motor in order to clean the bottom inside of the HVAC casing to remove any leaves, debris etc. because if its plugged and you don't remove the leaves, dirt etc. then blowing air/water through it would be just a temporary fix, hope this helps, and thank you for watching.

How many miles did you have on the old shocks if you don't mind I have a 2007 with about 70,000
