    Would you also recommend the three person one where you can lay down from radiant health with the 20 amp circuit for an area that's rather cold in a garage shop? Thanks for the great videos...

    Matt I love your reviews. Do you think you'll ever consider branching out to the cold therapy/cold plunge/ice bath side of things? There's so many peoducts now for cold therapy and many people use them in conjunction with their saunas.

    I took Matt’s advice and bought a Radiant Health E-2H 3 months ago and I love everything about it! I look forward to using it every day. Buying it and setting it up was as easy as Matt says. I’m a 72 year old lady and easily put it together with the help of my son. Thanks Matt!👍

    hey Matt! Love these videos. I spoke with Radiant Health and my original plan was to have the sauna be in the garage. They said, the surroundings need to be ambient temp of +65F. My garage is not insulated and likely gets down to the 40Fs/50Fs in the winter. You mentioned the 2.5 works in garage running on 20amps. Have you tried these in colder ambient rooms?

    • @matt-justice
      @matt-justice  6 місяців тому +1

      Yep any sauna will struggle in 40F temps. You have to either add an extra heater to the sauna, or heat the space to keep the preheat time reasonable. There’s some options on the Facebook group where I show you how to do it

    What’s the best unit someone can get for under $2k? Budget is tight and want to get a low emf, low voc full spectrum but haven’t found one that fits into those specs budget friendly. I’m almost to the point where any sauna is better than no sauna…

    Matt.. great vids.. you a true aficionado of Sauna.. and your very informed opinion is valuable. Back in the day, sauna's were steam.. hot rocks etc. Now we have Steam generator both in Shower and Room formats, but not so high of a temperature. Currently 110V infrared is the generic "Sauna". Given all the term redefinition, I have a very basic question:
    Given your best 110V "Sauna", or a mid quality 220V 30A Hot Rock "Sauna" wet or dry, which experience would you prefer?
    Not really interested in the Wood work or wifi.. more an outdoor on the deck would be my style. Moisture in a House isn't good, and the ventilation gets complicated.

    Hi Matt! Very much appreciate your honest feedback and content. Do you plan on reviewing the new sauna from Plunge? With a dry sauna like that … are you able to put in a very small room? Or could it cause moisture/mold issues long term?

    Hey Matt, I just confirmed what you said about the Costco sauna. I have one from 2016 and I just tested the EMF levels and got the same results…super man, disappointed, all of the above that I never knew and used for years. Costco is actually returning it and giving me a refund due to this. They now have Dynamic Saunas on their site that state “Low EMF”. Is this still not true? I was going to buy the new ones that have that in the description because they are still the least expensive but if not, I’m going with Radiant Health E-2H

    Thank you for the reply Matt. One other questions ... Have you had any experience with Finnleos Hallmark InfraSauna IS440? It's a 2 in 1 combination unit with both infrared and traditional applications? My wift and I are split between which type we would like to go with and wondering if this could be the solution.

    • @matt-justice
      @matt-justice  6 місяців тому

      Are you in my facebook group under a different username? I'm thinking this might be you, just answered there. In short: nope no experience with them, looked at buying one but didn't because you can't run both types of heat simultaneously. I'd have one if you could. I ended up making my own with a base far infrared sauna, and added a $200 traditional 110v heater to it. It gets over 200F with that, but I ended up going back to mostly infrared. It's there if I ever want to crank up the heat on colder days though.

      @@matt-justice Hi Matt. No I'm not on Facebook. But that's a great idea. Do the Radiant Health models have any issue with accepting an additional heat source? Does the digital thermometer still work? The added heat doesn't trip the unit to turn off?

    Hey there Matt, would love your opinion. Can i install a vevor sauna heater (probably their lowest / smallest version which is 3KW 220v inside my infrared sauna and use that heating element as opposed to the infrared? (something about the infrared doesn't make me feel right and i've used traditional saunas for 15 years with no issue). I kind of preferring to just leave the infrared unit unplugged and turn on the vevor heater which i'm guessing based on the smaller size of the unit, should heat up the box very quickly? I would probably need to drill a hole in the frame for the power cord to reach outside, which I would properly insulate. Do you foresee any issues that I'm probably missing? I have a Dynamic Infrared Barcelona Model (single person) Would love your expertise with this idea (i know there's someone else who uses a patio heater but figured an actual sauna heater unit (small) might be better and faster to heat up?

      I’m sure it’s effective, I’ve been in something similar… but gonna have a hard time getting people to adopt to using sauna in that body position. (I’m being polite, others feedback is more along the lines of “I ain’t getting in a coffin to sweat each day” type of thing)
