Here's the 2nd 1977 set of Toots Thielemans Quartet featuring a young and up and coming Jeff Berlin on fretless bass. This 2nd set is just as exciting and varied as the 1st set with an almost entirely different set list, covering material ranging from Paul Simon's "I Do It For Your Love" to Sonny Rollins' "Oleo". One of the highlights for me is an interesting arrangement of the standard "How High The Moon". Have a listen and decide for yourself! :)

Berlin is one fine bass player.. Sounds like a Fender Rhodes, man greatness!

Phenomenal bass player indeed. And yes, Rob Franken is playing Fender Rhodes. In fact, he was one of the first jazz musicians in Europe to utilize it.

Me too. Saw Toots live in Oslo in 2004 and had a conversation with his road manager during the break.
