Fern was around 8 when Frieren came to visit Heiter, she's a bit over 16 now.
She’s very mature for her age. I thought she was much older
Haha, Fern´s not around 30 here, she´s about 15 or 16 😊
When she said she spent half of her life with Frieren, it means she met her, living with Heiter, when she was 7 or 8 and now she´s twice as old.
But that line confused many people indeed 🙂

Fern is quite the savage, with her blunt way of speaking and her glares of death or loathing, lol. She’s pretty scary when she’s angry, but most of the time she is a sweet girl. ^_^
She does have sweet sides and I think Stark will be able to bring more of it from here but then again I’m a hopeless romantic always looking for hints of romance ✨ ☺️
I'm really loving your Frieren cosplay, #ExpectoRidiculumReacts, and I really enjoyed watching your reaction to these episodes. Ah....Stark, Stark, Stark. I love the Levity he brings to the party. I don't know how far you're in the Granat arc, but Stark really shines.
I find it fascinating you have a lot of plants. I cannot keep any...they always die, and I stopped getting them to end the guilty feelings when they inevitably perish. I do keep a lot of books. I can happily lose whole days reading if I do not take care.
When I was a student i couldn’t even keep a cactus 🙈 His name was Harry and he dried out 🙈🤣but now that I have my own place and time between shifts i feel like it’s easier to find that time off to take care of plants ☺️ None of them last forever. I’ve moved house many times and some didn’t like the change. I’m not an expert too. I used to read a lot of books when I was younger. Now work and YT absorbers most of my time but whenever I find some time - I get totally lost reading mangas and manhwas 🥰 it’s such a wonderful feeling to completely forget about the world and immerse myself into fictional stories @dawnfallon6812

It is one of my favorite feelings. I am an unashamed bookworm, which has caused me some grief before...but I hold zero regrets in that. One of my biggest dreams is to make my own books- printing and binding. It won't be an easy dream to fulfill, but I am determined to try.
Work does take a lot of time away from goals. I work at night. It took a long time to adjust, but I find it calming. Maybe because I get anxious around a lot of people. For the record, I am definitely not a vampire.
The two mangas that I follow now are Komi Can't Communicate and Fly Me to the Moon. I am trying to steer clear of the Frieren manga, but I have it bookmarked. My guilty pleasure is the light novel for Ascendance of a Bookworm for...well obvious reasons. 😊

I’m actually working a night shift now as we speak 😂 Well, I’ve taken a little break 🤭 My shifts vary. I’m not a vampire but I’m definitely getting more pale year by year. I need a holiday 😂

Komi is a mix of a coming of age, comedy and romance. Komi is a first year high school student who is the most popular girl due to her beauty. But Komi has a problem...she is so insecure she cannot speak to people. Komi has a dream of making 100 friends, and finds a kindred spirit in a boy named Tadano who promises her he'll help her do it. It really is a sweet story that reminds me of some of my better times in school.
Fly Me to the Moon is pure sappy romance, but with a mystery added. The story follows a boy named Nasa, who is saved from a car accident by a young woman. Utterly overthrown by her beauty and ignoring his injuries, he proposes to her while he is literally bleeding out. He blacks out before her answer. He awakens alone, abandoned. Two years of desperate searching pass before the mysterious girl unexpectedly appears at his front door, holding marriage papers in hand. Her name is Tsukasa, and there is more to her than meets the eye.
Ascendance of a Bookworm is a difficult synopsis. It is over 30 volumes of isekai shenanigans in the light novel (to say nothing of the manga or the anime). The novel centers on a woman named Urano who dies in Japan after being crushed by her book collection. She awakens as a 4 year old commoner girl named Myne in a magical medieval world without books. Unable to accept this, she decides to change that. That covers the first story arc. Things get out of hand after that. Bookworms do not settle for half measures.
An anime that is a wonderful palate clenser for Frieren would be My Dress-Up Darling. Marin is so happy and optimistic. It might be a bit much for UA-cam reactions...it flirts with being ecchi quite a bit. Still, I love the dynamic being Marin and Gojo. I wish I was half of what Marin is.
