Barangay Socorro Clearing

At 6AM, a van was ticketed and towed for a violation of illegal parking on the sidewalk.
Just 2 hours later, the same van was seen parked on the sidewalk again, and another ticket was issued for illegal parking.
It seems that the driver paid the penalties, collected the van from the impound, and then returned the van to the exact same position on the sidewalk.
In the past, we've seen many drivers start to use paid parking lots, after having their vehicle impounded. But I guess for some drivers, it takes multiple interactions before you can observe a change in behavior.
There was coordination and assistance from the Barangay.
Thanks to KYT for their generous support of Bong and his team. Obviously supplies are limited, but it's great that they can help some riders improve their safety on the road.
