Dude check out House of Protection. It’s Stephen from The Chariot’s new band with Aric Improta. They played their first show in LA this last Friday and it was sick, I was there. The new music is really high energy and great
dude i know right?? i couldn’t even focus on the music because occasionally there was that DOONNG instead of a slightly higher pitched DOOMNG. hahahahhahah is he INSANE
I think the reason they have such a great live performance is because it’s so much nonsense and chaos going on yet it has just barely enough substance and structure to keep it interesting to watch hahaha
Having just discovered these guys I have to say while perhaps there's a certain amount of nonsens, their playing is actually really tight most of the time. Which really makes it quite impresse considering how much chaos there is, as you say. And they do play a lot of odd time signatures which adds to the whole chaos feel.
@@kithugomusic I don't know about other stuff from them, but this sounds like hot garbage. I'm willing to believe that that's only due to the terrible recording quality.
You feel sorry for people that showed up for it and shouted song recommendations? The ones that cheered and laughed and had a good time? That's too bad, I guess. 😂
@@intromortti you started it by hating on a band that you chose to listen to. you followed up with idiocy and i responded in suit. you started this, and kept going. get a clue
These guys have more energy in one performance than I've had my entire life.
With so many scenes feeling stagnant, I could use a Chariot release right about now. RIP.
for real.
Look for new music then. Lots of shit is being released all the time--learn the names of distros and so on, kids.
@@abon1364 For real, there’s SO MUCH good new music coming out across every scene right now, just gotta do some digging
Nothing will ever be like the chariot. Long live.

So fucking good! I miss this guys so much!!
I'll take what ever bass that guy has because apparently it can withstand anything
Yo there's another video of them he HUCKS that bass do high hits the ground picks it up and plays it like nothing ever happened hahaha
That's the wolf. He was born that way
The camera cannot handle such a fierce, powerful sound. But its trying as best as it can.
MY MANS GOT 2 FLOOR TOMS INSTEAD OF A HIGH AND A LOW OH MY FUCKING GOD
Sick ass Frankenkit.

This is now as classic in the hardcore scene as MJ in the basketball scope of things
Literally looks like they’re playing at 1.5x
How did I MISS THIS
ahead of their time.
More like a staple of their time
pure energy!
My first chariot song was the the Company The Grave on Music Choice shout out Music Choice
@17:07 the guitarist starts playing the guitar riff from MXC.
Right you are, Ken. He's a scholar of the Babaganoush School of Music and Taxidermy, and inventor of the Five Knuckle Shuffle.
😂 I was like where is that from!!!!???
here from Andy Rehfeldt
RIP the goats!
Long live 🤘
26:36-26:57 hilariously dope.
I hope so, the rest is hot garbage.
Nope. It's just as bad as the rest.
The way the vocalist just throws himself on the ground cracks me up lmao

what kind of fucking strap is that that the bass player has lmao the thing never lets go
dimarzio clip locks, the guitar spin GOATs
i guess ya gotta be there, cause every live show ive seen, it sounds like 5 dudes playing different songs at the same time
nah, that's what it sounded like live too 😂
lmaoooooooo i love this comment absolutely hilarious!
@@jackcravford8744 I dig it, but i mean, lets be honest, this is performance art more so than a band I think lol
Love these guys, holey crap!
❤❤❤❤❤
how in God's name did the audience contain themselves ?
I seriously had the same thought and had I been there, I would have been like saying Holy shit out loud in between songs
20:58 catchiest riff of the vid lol
so much love
Is cool 👍
I miss my wife
Me too, she was great

Stole my jacket
How has he maintained his voice throughout the years?
the guitarist on the right really likes standing bowlegged
14:40 that bass player had to have broke or sprung or dislocated something doing that.
13:00 I kind of wish they played what I wrote on drums 😢 it was meaner... more vicious and not "safe".
The notes they played on the record were merely a suggestion. lmao
Kayos! Wonder why they never toured with Dillinger?
what kind of amps are those?
I know this is from a while ago, but the guitars are Moss amps and cabs, the bass it mesa 400+ head with ampeg cab
Awesome! Thank you!
