Yes, but I think anyone with a general knowledge of playing bass or guitar could do it if they know the rhythm and stops/breaks of the songs… a lot of it is throwing the bass and sliding the neck.
12:16 is on a list of moments I come back to in live music when I need inspiration; when I need to have my jaw drop again from disbelief in the comradery that is shared in music like this. I'm always grateful that The Chariot existed in the first place, and in a time where we have so much footage to memorialize them. There will never be another band like The Chariot, and that's okay.
So glad I got to see them a few times while they were around. I was lucky to catch them on their farewell tour in Salt Lake City. The venue stayed open past curfew because the The Chariot had van troubles, and they showed up 2 hours late, loaded all their stuff in within 5 minutes and just let the crowd yell out songs to play.
The one and only time I saw them was at warp tour in 06' or 07'. I remember I was the only one of my friends that wanted to see them, so I was left alone to watch their concert and, IT WAS AMAZING!!! Their merch was store bought shirts with bleached insignias. I'm not sure what happened to it, but damn do I wish I kept it!
So annoying when people think it's cool to post comments like this. We don't know you. Who you are. Or care. And no one can see anyone in the crowd. Thanks for letting us know that was you somewhere in there though. Retard.
I've never seen such passionate fans in heavy music. I miss them so much.
their bassist was a psychopath. awesome to watch.

Believe it or not he left the band in order to become a psychologist.
