I think Billy is wrong about there being a Bob Dylan, Kurt Cobain, or Bob Marley out there. I don't think younger generations are as driven as gen x and older generations were. When you grow up with the iPhone and internet, I think that diluted the drive and creativity in young people. Kids used to start bands, now they play video games and watch Netflix. The golden age of music is gone.

interesting theory but its not based in reality. its the death of major labels and the massive marketing they had pre-internet. great music has always been made underneath the radar. I'm too old to care now its us not them.
