Carl Wayne Elder from Cockrum Mississippi. Carried his amplifier into a many of bars. He was my carpenters helper for many years too. He could sweep sawdust with the best of them.

I bought this album only a couple of hours ago for one Euro in the local thriftshop here in Holland, just 'cause i liked the album cover! Now i love it!

Coon was a great entertainer and a good friend of mine. I loved him like a brother. We lived a couple of miles from each other and he worked as my carpenters helper for a few years. My mother and his sister grew up together in Cockrum Mississippi. He was a character to say the least. His always in my memories and in my heart. If I had a way to send you some pictures I would. Take care and enjoy his album.
