Hey Jimmy, I’m currently on a Medboard process, but I haven’t got my VA Ratings yet. I already made an offer to the house I want. Do you recommend waiting til I get my VA ratings so I’m qualify for VA funded fee?
Hi Jan - no need. Since you’ve already applied for your VAD rating you’d be entitled to have a refund once it’s approved by contacting the loan servicer and VA.

Great info. Is the funding fee the same thing as cash to close then?
Good question - VA allows that VAFF to be rolled into the loan. So you have the option of paying at closing however, it's not necessary.
