- I bought walkman type W800 model. It had a bit of problem door A did not work and Door B side worked. Well I did repair and resolves only had damaged belt. And then I had some clean and little welding volume knob had little shake and solved it well. At last works well. It is as new as it was 1984 until now 32 years ago.

But there is an issue with Deck A. The speed varies while playing. It seems there is some lever in the roller assembly that is causing this. Do you have any idea what could be the cause?

Hello. you see engine. wires changed? or adjust speed.
@@elisiocliopt finally found the issue. There is a spring and a plastic lever in the roller assembly. That spring was out of its place and was touching the roller. This actually jammed the roller and thus there was speed variations.
