Im a headif you by a year or more. I've been using magazine holders (plastic ones from thrift stores and Target cardboard ones from thrift stores) for my canned goods and tall pasta boxes. I store my cans flat in the holders, v standing vertically. ❤
I organized with plastic bins from dollar tree. But as soon as something knocks into it or a can falls on them they shatter into pieces. It doesn’t take much at all for them to break down unfortunately.
I know I usually have to go to 3 different stores. Or I send a pic of what I’m looking for to both my daughters that live in different areas in our city

I love the woven style baskets round, square, rectangle I use the Turquoise color to brighten my pantry, kitchen and bathroom. Inexpensive yet look more costly.
That paper organizer hack is pretty cool. I bought some of them for my classroom, but they don't really work well in that space. I might use them at home now.
I can't wait until we move to our forever home, then i will go to the Poundland or Pound Stretcher stores to look for equivalents here in Scotland, I love the storage idea! There's NEVER enough storage!

Hi Katherine, Do you have any videos for storage in a bathroom if you have a pedestal sink such as I do? I cannot put one of those over the tank storage cabinets because the only towel holder I have is over the tank mounted thru the tile. I haven't seen any videos for pedestal sink bathrooms. I live in a historic registered building. Nails and molly bolts are not allowed. I have 3 very small closets. I am overwhelmed. I had only so long to find an apartment and it was during the heart of covid and the larger apartments with elevators were not taking new tenants because they only wanted one or two using elevators. My kitchen is so tiny without storage I have pans and a turkey roaster in the fridge. I called an organizing company but, they only come if you have 3 bedrooms. I saw a beautiful shelving system at IKEA but I do not even have a place for it. On Sunday night I actually cried looking around. My living room looks like a storage unit. I am overwhelmed and not able to take a vac off from work yet being a new year. I think if I stayed home for a week it would help. I work 10 hour days. By Saturday I'm in bed all day so tired. I have a metal paper tray and it's good plated like your's. My Mom gave it to me and I am sentimental. I was living with my Mom in her beautiful spacious house. She passed away from cancer. I was hoping to buy out my siblings portion so I could stay there but no one else was on board with that so I had to move. I love ALL your videos. I have a bright green locker bin just like you showed. I love that bag idea. Then it gets rid of the cardboard box that bugs seem to like. I have a pantry where we ripped out the metal racks and replaced with wood shelving. Organizers sure look nice, but when there is negative space caused by organizers, it is not efficient.
That wire basket is super cheap quality and it doesn’t sit very flat because it has rounded edges. Just an fyi. We used it for a while but it wasn’t very good. I’d go for something else honestly.
I think we need a grading system for our DT's! So we know whos got the good stuff and stays stocked! But i feel like the best store's regulars will gate keep them 😂

I have even used contact paper on cardboard boxes. Can do a few per roll and in the design of your choice

The collapsible bins collapsing isn't the problem I have with them. My issue is my cats won't leave them alone. They scratch them to shreds.

I organize my things by stacking them. Many of these "organizers" actually take up MORE SPACE than neatly stacking your items. LOOK carefully!
