Slamming A 9th Gen Honda Accord | BC Coilovers Extreme Low Install!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 лют 2025
- We took to slamming the Accord by installing some BC Extreme Low Coilovers! If you plan to lower your 9th Gen Accord with some coilovers then this is the video for you! Simply be sure to know what you're getting yourself into before you join the lifestyle. It's going to take the owner some time to get use to living the low life. The results came out better than expected and the negative camber that we dialed in helped achieve that perfect fitment with no rubbing issues at all! So tune in if you plan to lower your Honda Accord and achieve similar fitment and stance like we did.
In this video we tackle on the coilovers install and get the cars fitment dialed in to accommodate for the fender gap that comes stock from factory on these Accords. Step by step and full DIY install for these coilovers was rather simply and a lot easier than our past experiences. The car is now lowered and ready for the future car meets.
More videos with modifications to come on his end and the experience that come with it.
Hope you guys enjoyed the video and the final outcome for this one. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to comment down below, more than happy to help with your install process.

the smile on his face says everything we need to know when slamming your car
That smile comes naturally once you’ve realized that you’ve achieved your goal 💪🏽
YESSS😂😂😂
I have been a fan of lowered cars since I was in high school. Still going strong many years later! I am on a lowered static 2017 Honda Accord V6 Touring myself. I love how the team, (homies) came together to assist this young man into the lowered static lifestyle! You can tell how much they care for each other by their collective enthusiasm. I was the same way when I lowered my first car back in the day. I would love to see a before and after "complete walk around", pics/video of this vehicle. Looks good! Keep grinding y'all! 😀👍🏼
High school is where it truly starts once everyone starts getting their license. Wondering what the build looks like but we will definitely get a walk around video of the car as it progresses. The young homie is definitely enjoying the low life and we’re glad to have helped him with the install but also to learn from our experience. The team will continue to support those that show support and dedication for the lifestyle! Thank you and I appreciate the support! 💪🏽
When family comes together, this is the outcome you get, HAPPINESS 💯🤟
Without a doubt! The best of results are achieved when we come together and work together 🙌🏽
That guy was so happy 🤟🏽😮💨 that’s how you know you did something right to the wip 😮💨😏👌🏽
Happy as can be for his first true modification, all that's left would be some proper wheels for his setup and it'll be set! He's definitely doing something right!
WEEEE OUTSIDEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Eso es todo tuner !
Yessir! Outside with the team bro!
Thanks for the video bout to do this to my car next week !
Your welcome! Hope the video helps your out with the install and best of luck, excited for you!
Man I love lowered cars. My cl9 is on coils, but damn is it getting annoying scraping shit. I feel everything. I’ve had to change my cv axels because of it. The streets here in San Bernardino are bumpy as fuck lol I’m getting a 9g accord sport soon, it’s suped with Takeda exhaust, fat cherry pipe, flow master, and Takeda cai. Shit sounds load as fuck and deep kind of like this but less rasp. I plan on keeping it stock suspension since it kind of draws attention because of how it sounds, I don’t wanna get pulled over. Thankfully they got the carb stickers under the hood for the mods 🙏🏽 you can’t do shit in Cali
Getting my 9th gen dropped this Monday. FInally going static.... I can't sleep. Lol.
I feel your excitement! Congrats and good luck on being static ⚡️
Fresh guys!!!
Thank you bro!
Static 🔥, btw what exhaust or exhaust modifications?, I'm trynna get a sound just like that
Static indeed! His exhaust setup is simply a muffler delete, nothing to crazy and it suits the car well
Did the fenders need to be rolled? Don't want it that low, but looking into these coilovers.
No fender rolling needed, so if you plan to be at the height in the video or higher you won’t need to worry about having to roll fenders. I’d recommend the coilovers, good luck!
With the BC’s can you raise it to any height you want after you get then installed? Let’s say it’s an inch too low or too high can you adjust the height with those? Thanks. Great job.
Most coilovers, if not all, are adjustable. Meaning you can raise, or lower it. Good luck 👍
Real shit ❤❤❤I have the EXACT same reactions 😂😂WWWHHOOOO 😂😂👌👌
I love buddy’s humbleness in this video 🥹 that’s how the game be. Congrats!!
His energy is contagious! The game should grow on positive energy and positivity!
That’s cool he is so happy
His reaction was priceless!
What size was that bolt
What specific bolt are we referring to?
Hey I know I'm a little late but was this the default hight? As in the highest?
Shout out to everyone for real!!🥹💯happppiest moment of my life right here ,one for the books for sure❤️
Happy we could could out and share this moment with you but also capture it all on camera for the documentary 🙌🏽
Did you guys used 1-2 or 2-3 ? I appreciate it bro I just got an accord and tryna do this 🤝🏻💯
What do you mean by 1-2 or 2-3 bro? But clear that up for me so I can help you out and so you can get to working your accord! Congrats on your car and hope you take it where you want to.
Yoo i love it, how can i get the same exhaust for my 2016 accord sport
Thanks fam! So the exhaust setup is simply a muffler delete
@@AuthenticAlexndrwould it sound similar on the 4cyl ?
Man, I CANNOT get the ball joint from the LCA to come down from the steering knuckle. I’ve tried using the ball joint removal tool, that uses the bolt to push the knuckle and LCA outwards from each other; but it still didn’t work. And hammering it in, eventually, it just didn’t want to go back over the rubber boot of the ball joint anymore.
I have yet to use the fork styled ball joint removal tool. I did, however, use like a 3+ ft crowbar, and it still didn’t get the LCA loose from the knuckle…
I’ve heard of people somehow only doing it with the sway bar end link removed, or just with the tie rod removed. Not sure how that works, bc the shock is still so far into the knuckle. Standing on the rotor and everything will only go so far, since the LCA limits how far the knuckle can go down; as well as the CV axles holding the rest of the knuckle in at that point.
Can anyone else help me???
Did you just do coilovers or got a camber kit to?
Ayo that corolla tho!!
All types of builds here! 🫡
Whats static mean. I have a 2014 sport its a 2.4 tho will thise set still go hard
Clean, I see you guys located in San Francisco. I have a 2018 honda accord and looking for some coil overs. Any recommendations for a decent brand?
Yes we are, San Francisco locals. I would honestly recommend BC's for your year since BC's have been known to work. If not BC, check out some Tein Coilovers are also good quality. Now if you want to ball out, then KW is the way to go. Hope this helps.
Do these come from the factory all the way stiff or all the way hard on dampening and if not, please let me know otherwise
From factory they're usually set in the middle so you'd have to adjust it yourself when installing it.
Link to the product brother ?also how you make it pop like that 16:15
Yeah I gotchu, my apologies for the lag bro,
Here's the link www.kseriesparts.com/BCC-A-103-BR.html?gclid=CjwKCAiAr4GgBhBFEiwAgwORrZe9p4R7-1rGnzPvYbTMxB3nJ4u3q3NX5k289RWtoE_ESpLObcQOKhoCb5UQAvD_BwE
Now to make your car pop, we achieved the popping exhaust note with a muffler delete and driving the car in sport/manual mode, then driving in the higher revs and letting the idle drop back down in the same gear to build compression and achieve the pops.
What year is this
This was a 2015 model year
What exhaust? Is he running
His exhaust setup is simply a muffler delete
is a 9th gen the same as a year 2015 honda
Yes that’s correct, if I’m not mistaken 2018 was the start of the 10th gen
Yo I got 9th gen accord.. tell me the exact coilovers.. all the others brand don't compare.. but let me know everything spring rate and everything pretty plz
Yo wasssup bro ,is the dude with the accord on the video ,I got some BC coil overs and this my first time ever with a lowered car😅but BC are worth it ,not bouncy at all, worth every penny…happy with them overall
Hit him with the spring rate because from what I remember you went with the swift springs right?
Bet which ones though.. did u getbthe extreme lows and what's the spring rate on the front and back
What is the exhaust set up?
Resonator and muffler delete for exhaust setup
So a 2018 accord EXL does it have the same body style as a 2008 accord sport?
A 2018 and 2008 have drastic body style differences as well as suspension components
@@AuthenticAlexndr i’m sorry I meant to say a 2018 EXL and a 2018 sport accord. Do they pretty much have the same body style.
What’s his exhaust setup?
Sounds like just a muffler delete 😂
Muffler delete with a high flow universal resonator
what exhaust this is?
Stock exhaust with a muffler delete
What spring rates do u need to go that low
We went with the default 7kg upfront and 6kg in the rear, as long as you get the Extreme Low, you'll be able to achieve these results
what exhaust?
It’s simply a muffler delete on the stock exhaust. Good luck!
Are you guys in San Francisco?
Yes we are!
Super close you guys ever go to Marin cars n coffee?
Haven’t been but definitely need to check it out!
I saw your you tube video on the 9th Gen accord that was wet. im from the east east bay now in tracy. I need to get new struts anyway so do you think coilovers are the way to go? I want to lower it like way your team did but that's a whole different was to learn to drive like you guys do. I have a9th Gen and would like any info on what to order and the best place to install. my friends are boring and not into cars but I am. any info would be greatly appreciated thank you
Glad you enjoyed the video! If you say you’re from Tracy and want to surround yourself with new friends that are into cars like yourself then you should check out our natives car club chapter that located out in the valley on Instagram as @natives.valley. They go to car meets and host meets aswell, would be dope for you to meet new friends and make some connections in the car scene. Now for coilovers, if you need some new struts then yes coilovers are definitely the way to go to get a better ride quality not to mention that you’ll be able to adjust your height and lower it like we did to get a nice stance and new look on the car. It will definitely take some getting use to driving lower but if you have the passion, you’ll enjoy your car that much more! Hope this helped, feel free to message me with any questions you may have.
I don't know shit about cars but this is fire 🔥... drop me the mods I want them headlights , bumper whole9
All it takes is a passion and you’re hooked! Mod list was bc coilovers, stock sport accord bumper, and clear headlights
What’s his IG? I can’t find it
I think he updated his IG handle, it's @youngin_j415
Nice but it’s too low for me
Thanks, luckily the beauty of coilovers is the that they’re adjustable
This is very very low...it's gonna hit the speed bump...one inch is okay...
Owner wanted to experience the static life so he’s well prepared to maneuver around speed bumps
No!! Don't throw away stock struts!! 🤦🤦🤷🤷🥴🤫😎🥷🏽
Nah, don't worry we didn't, we just did that for the shot lol
@@AuthenticAlexndr 🤣🤣👍🤫😎🥷🏽

Best advice I can give at the moment is drench it woth some wd-40 for the night and so I’m with a hammer to see if the vibrations break the bond. Not sure why yours having this much trouble, maybe they’re seized but try the penetrating oil then see what play you get.
What year and model is this
This is a 2015 Honda Accord Sport
