Originally written as a classic by Michael and Lenny back in 1986 after the release of his film Captain EO, Michael wanted this song to be special for his fans, so he worked day and night for this song. Not long after in November 1986, the song was finished. Unfortunately, the song was delayed until 1987 because Michael had a ongoing medical emergency. After he recovered, the song was put on shelves, never to be worked on again. wow that's amazing everytime i listen to your mix it's like hearing a new michael song taken from the vault: i love the vocal mix you created i recognize elements from different songs not just 'bad' and 'who is it'. I liked the idea of including "don't metter to me", it's totally unexpected and helped make the atmosphere a bit more nostalgic. I hope the release of "deep in the night (Eulonzo Mix)" that you anticipated in "behind the mask (80's Mix)" is close... I love "deep in the night"

Plus, my brotha Lenny Jay’s background vocals were the cherry on top! 🍒 As for ‘Deep in the Night’ - That track, which is finished, was originally going to be released during the Halloween season, however it was cancelled due to not having a lot of time in between the other ‘spooky’ songs I had released. I didn’t want to spam with uploads too much. So, the plan is to release it this year, maybe even before Halloween! 😎🎃👻

Alternate Universe : Sometime later after The Bad album Micheal began to Work on his next project which was called Decade and Was meant to be a greatest hits Album with some of his songs from off the wall Thriller Bad And it was also going to have Some pack of new songs Like black or white In the Closet Men In The Black and the last one Was Who it is And which He and Eulonzo had work on since 1985 to 1988 But The album Itself was scrapped due Micheal missing several Deadlines Between 1989 to 1990 and Due to deadlines Jackson was later go on to work on his next album which was called Dangerous Some of the songs from decade being Feature on The album which were black or white in the closet and the best one which is who is it itself nobody know if the demo of who it is exist that when Eulonzo Mixes show them that the demo did Exist by putting it on youtube on August 7 2023 4 mouths before micheal 62 Brithday
