- Hi everyone! I'm bringing yet another one of my personal mixes, in today's video I'll be presenting you my take on the track "Who Is It".
The song was originally recorded during the "Dangerous" album sessions, But in this mix I'll be reconstructing the song as if it were made during the "Bad" album sessions! Please leave any suggestions for future mixes!

Originally titled as “Doesn’t Seem to Matter” in 1978 during the Off the Wall sessions.
This would be the second demo during the Bad sessions between 1987-1989. It was changed to “Who Is It (Friend of Mine)”. Recorded around the same time as “Streetwalker”. The finalized version came out in 1991 and is the fifth single the next year. Both the Off the Wall and Bad demo takes were released by Quality Mixes within their respective dates.

Written as far back as 1978 during the early Off the Wall sessions around the same time as tracks such as Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough, Workin Day and Night, and Wanna Be Startin Somethin. Who Is It would be reworked in 1986 with the B-team during the Bad sessions. But ultimately would be left out again until being reworked in 1989 during the Dangerous sessions. The 1986 Bad demo would be leaked by Quality Mixes December 23, 2022.
Edit: This was an amazing mix man, not many people do 70s mixes. I would love to see you do these more often, keep up the hard work 👍 😎

I like the distorted pitch sound you gave the song, it sounds great with this effect, it truly feels like a song originally recorded in the Bad era

Originally written and recorded as far back in 1978 under the name It Doesn't Seem To Matter for Off The Wall. It was eventually shelved for Burn This Disco Out. Again around 1986-1987, he worked on the second demo for it, but at the last minute, it was replaced by I Just Can't Stop Loving You. He picked it back up between 1989-1990 for his eight studio album Dangerous, which also became his biggest album yet besides Thriller. On December 23, 2022, Quality Mixes leaked the original '86 demo to the internet after have leaked the '78 demo of it a while back.
