X is much more dependent on launch power than previous gens. Launching as hard as possible isn't the best strategy in most cases which makes the best option whatever you are more consistent with.
I just spent 4 hours practicing max strength launches, ended up breaking my helm knight 😅 all to find out max strength isn't a good idea!? 😭 please elaborate
@@PokePullHits recoil. Physics shows that in oblique collisions the vector (bey) with more force will retain more of its momentum compared to the other vector. Therefore if you launch your attack type at max strength while your opponent soft launches their stamina or defense type, depending on their positioning you might actually just KO yourself with your own recoil as if you don't get a direct hit they will not be sent flying due to their lack of momentum. There's a sweet spot and sometimes it is an option to full send but most of the time you want to launch as hard as you need to not as hard as you can.
youtube just started showing me beyblade content today, didn't know anyone who played as a kid so i never got into it til now... but i think X is the line that finally makes me commit. Also, instant follow for your choice of test BGM
Same bro! Back into bey after 20 years! And after looking up all the gens I missed out on. X will come down as the greatest generation if it hasn't already (in terms of battling not anime)
Same here. For someone who pulls so fast and hard to make my beyblade spin so fast, I'm too limited to use the string. I know I might destroy the string launcher knowing how I played tge 1st gen beyblades.
I think the best way to put it is that -Ripcord launcher/Winder is better for launch technique practice, full power launch or quick knockout/snipe launch playstyle -String launcher is better for stable playstyle, stable launch power and Stamina-Defense combo Bey
I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s good for defense stuff. I was really successful at a tourney using rip cord on my knightlance combo. It’s really just how you launch in the end of the day
The Beyblade X Ripcord launcher definitely feels more "tactile" and if the 1st gen launcher is already this good. I can't wait to see what's Beyblade holds in the future!
I love how both string and now rip is pretty good. edit: But if you put a X lancher pron thingys that attach to the X beys and put it on a DB lancher thing. It def makes the string better
@@AR05119 shave the inside of the db or remove that part. Also use something bigger for the screw since with the original one, it likes to come off randomly
I think for me it's that the T shape lets you have a natural grip and the rings always kinda force you to have a certain angle so your knuckle won't get stuck lol.@@Nicksnerdcave
I would prefer to use string launcher on attack type to have more precise angle when launch. Using the ripcord sometime move my left hand when pull and I sometime self KO because of extreme line or not landing where I want it to be. However the Ripcord is my preference for stamina or counter attack type since I will need as much stamina as possible and avoid the bey to be in the middle first 2.5 seconds.
Ripcord often need way better control than string. THATS why string is so popular to begin with. I prefer ripcord because I like having the difficulty of a good launch. It’s high risk high reward
both launchers have different strategy for me string is more for control and stamina while is more to torque and striking but at the cost of self elimination
Boil some water, put the ripcords in, let them get warm, take them out and straighten them, hold it straight and run it under cold water and it’s straight! You can also put a book over them for awhile. That’ll help too

Agreed. Hence why I said someone can still win with a string, the test was about which gives a better launch, not how to win

I've always preferred the feel of ripchord launchers. It always made it feel like I could feel the resistance from the Bey
If they want to make this an actual sport this is great design having tradeoffs and preference will be great for strategy and variety

String launchers never felt right to me.
SAAAAAME I was so disappointed with my first string launcher. I used to strip the gears on the ripcord launcher tho
Metal fusion one was great

True but illegal for tournaments so I never bothered
I tried doing that but it seems like the diameter of the prongs are too tightly fitted with the diameter of the DB prong-guard thingy

If you have younger siblings use string launchers but when playing with people your age use ripcord
I’m used to playing Beyblade alone so I use a red setup as a string launcher where I find it practical to not need to put it back
1:34 There's no bearing inside the winder launcher. It only has gear multiplier and the removal of the stopper.
Yeah that was my bad. Either way it helps with giving the Beyblade more spin
I just wish they made the ripcord grip T shaped instead of a square made for ppl with small fingers.
I have decently sized hands and for me it’s perfect but I do hope we get a dragon winder or phoenix winder like for burst.

Very thorough and very helpful sir! Thank you 🙏🏻 ❤
I got the BX-7 starter set so does that mean I gonna loose against someone with a ripcord launcher?!!
Bro watch the video I explain how that’s not entirely possible. 💀💀💀💀
Y u switch the colors
I think its just about how much force/strength you use

Got mine to last 2:55 (WR 9-60B) on a ripcord launcher and 2:15 on string
yeah i just can't get more powerful launches with my string launcher. I was wondering if it was just me
I just bought my first bey set and need a launcher so thank you i got the Dran Dagger Deck Set BX-20
Heck yeah! They sell string launchers individually now so have at it
Where do you get the ripcord launcher?
It comes with a lot of the beys! Get a dransword new and a ripcord will come with it
Is it ok to Crank a Winder Launcher?
No
