Have we fixed it? Accident Damage on the VW Shorty….

After ‘Sid the kid’ our 1978 Volkswagen transporter panel van now customised Shorty van was recently involved in an accident, where a Vehicle drove into the side! We now have the mission to get it fully repaired in time for the up-and-coming volksworld plus show in just under 5 days!!!
we not only needed to get him repaired but looking his best to be on display. 😳
In this episode, we are dealing with the accident damage and working out a game Plan of how to repair as best we can in the time we have.

The epoxy you used was it the 1k or the 2k ?

1K epoxy primer, just to give it some protection on the bare metal. It’s actually pretty good stuff perfect for smaller, bare metal repairs.
You just need to wait for it to fully cure.
