after watching a few mogwai videos I'm just now starting to get the idea, that perhaps, maybe... he doesn't like lee-sin. Further research is necessary.

@@Adalon- he loved lee (like me) when the champ was balanced and was t7, and was absolutely not needing a broken buff from nowhere. Lee targon as a t7 was a fun late otk, while lee t4 is just a pressuring otk/removal with a high potential of no counterplay, starting when hes played.

Had my doubts about this deck. Near the end, I had two Kalistas on the board and they both summoned Cithrias along with the Cithria I already had. All that with an Angry Woman.
10 out of 10, will play Spooky Ladies Deck again.

I got a large part of this deck during an expedition. Almost got to 7 wins but lost a SUPER close last game.

For the past few decks your "new" deck every day were just old deck + x, but this is a cool new deck! Making an actual new deck every day seems impossible anyways, so I am glad some deck quality returned.

He said "too damn soon" wich is a generic ally death quote but it's almost inaudible behind the level up music, then he says his level up quote "we're gonna need more coffins" so I don't blame the other people answering that that's what he says, I had to look up his quotes on the wiki to see wich one fitted.
So after watching this + hearing what you said about the Dragon synergies in Garren's Dragon Guard video, I tried making a Lucian agro deck with zed plus some Ionia ephemeral support (thinking about how you said synergies don't need to be the whole deck) and its bonkers. So thanks, man! Love the videos.

I just realized the similarly between lee sin and cancer.
Cancer starts by a mutation in a healthy cell that is not corrected by the body. Lee was a healthy but weak card Riot over buffed him and didn't HitFix him.
Cancer cells take nutrients from the rest of the body making it harder to function. Lee being so oppressive made new decks more restrictive.
One of the best ways to deal with cancer is chemotherapy but Chemo also kills health cells. Agro counters lee but it hurts a lot of other decks as well.
I am amazed how you make decks that help define the meta. Well done!!

You seemed excited about the Lee Sin buff when it first happened, but having seen the meta work out how it has what do you think he needs to be? I get he is OP but I like using the champion in a deck other than the old Noxus Lee Sin deck; do you think slowing him down and going back to his old cost and stats is the answer?

NGL, forgot initially that Kalista effect is only the first attack per turn and I thought Angry woman being the Kalista summon was an infinite combo. My stupidity aside, loving the decks. Keep up the good work.

Two days ago i played vs a deck like this, not the same just similar. I was using warmother (trundle/tryndamere) and i got destroyed by kalista. He blocked with "angry woman" (XD) and level 2 kalista created her as an ephimeral copy on the first attack.
So you rally the first time you attack with her, insane! I didn't know that but for sure kalista can be so good in this deck.

Lucian is my favorite champion for flavor and personally alone, juat wish he was a bit stronger
He shouldn't be. 1-2 cost champions are very difficult to buff/nerf due to a single stat changing up their power level drasticaly.
Lucian is fine. He sees play in some top tier meta decks (mostly demacia based midrange, scouts).

If you are upgrading an:
Odd cost unit, play it on your attack token
Even cost unit, play on your opponent's attack token
I think Mog you're partly right about the 'Too much aggro on ladder' as Lee sin is partly the cause of it. Aggro started becoming prevalent when Asol ramp became a thing and the ladder was just ramp decks all over the place the balance patches recently have been so underwhelming that meta didn't shift and I completely agree that fixing Lee sin would help reduce aggro on ladder but you'll still see plenty of it until ramp is still a thing.

If tianna gets sacrificed and you have a leveled up kalista you can attack eternally with permanent barrier up.

It still needs a buff maybe to its cost. For 5 mana it is quite a tempo sacrifice from playing a 4 mana unit to 5 mana landmark
As someone who doesn't play this game competitively, the current meta feels a lot like smash bros brawl competitive, where there is one overwhelmingly powerful thing and the viability of everything else in the game is ranked exclusively on how well they can handle said powerful thing.

Hello people, I've a few questions about this deck so i'm just gonna ask them:
- Any way you could fit in Brightsteel Formation? I love the card and I think it would fit the last 9 mana cost in the deck.
- As you are running Demacia it surprises me not seeing Relentless Pursuit. Why so?
- Why did you choose Cithria over Genevieve?

About Brightsteel protector, I think is really good, but doesn't fit the playstyle of this deck, also is too slow and normally it's enough to summon Tianna from the Landmark to win the game.
Talking about Tianna, she provides rally, and also leveled up Lucian and even more, if you draw two Lucian you get relentless pursuit, so including the card in the deck isn't necessary, but you could try it
Finally, Cithria is better than Genevieve because you usually aim to summon her with the Landmark, so the scout attacks doesn't matter too much, and Cithria has better stats and give allies fearsome, so in general it's a better option
I actually put vault in Endure, and went into the gauntlet with it (even got the prime glory). Maybe i was lucky, but it was really cool to get endure on round start at burst speed. I had to include seju as a 2 of for a 6 drop, and a neverglade collector as a 5, but the two games i played the deck worked really nicely

At first I saw Tianna and thought "BUT VAULTS OF HELIA MEANS THE RALLY IS USELESS"
And then I remembered Kalista.

I feel like vaults would fuck up Lucian's Rally effect, since it's round start so it would use up his rally on your attack turn and essentially turn Lucian into a small Garen

A tip that I noticed you don't know: When you have 3 champions, the order they appear distinguishes the amount of cards they have! 3, 2, 1!
This could have been a viable deck before the call of the mountain expansion. But will admit that vaults of Helia does provide the extra tempo when radiant gets spawned & eventually Tatiana. Well done on the deck Mogwai.👌🏻

This may sound weird, but this deck and the Vaults remind me a lot of yugioh. The Vaults are your active engine, and the high cost units are what we call "garnets", cards you want in the deck a nowhere else.

The Anivia deck has a good early curve with vault of Helia on with avarosian trapper / wyrding stones into crocolith. Turn 6 Anivia into late game; Early game with classical ramping cards,

Why would you go for anything else but a red card in scenarios like 32:45? Or why not even play TF before the spider? That would clear the board and get rid of a challenger, which was way more urgent than the blue effects, wasn't it?

at 30:40 Mogwai used the black spear generated by kallista instead of single combat. Why did he make that play? I want to know because I still struggle to recognize when using the champion signature spell...
Love this deck, SI is my favorite region. I have a deck suggestion for you @MegaMogwai, I've been making a deck with Noxus and Shadow Isles with only Swain for a champion. It's a control deck where SI gives healing as well as withering wail for aggro and noxus gives board threats for chump blockers. I've been beating Lee Sin decks all day due to vengeance and ruination as well as scorched earth. Maybe you could make your own deck on this archetype?
Isn't it too ironic that at the past Mogwai used radiant guardian only in a few decks such as champless undying's open beta version. But now, after the nerf, he used her in 2 consecutive decks.

Mr.mogwai is the regeneration effect works on the star spring? If yes can you build a freljord and targon with trundle since he has regen and taric to use the astral protection to taric and duplicate the eff to a chosen ally ( if you're confuse why astral protection is because you heal an ally,grabt +4 hp ) vs ( regenration with star spring on the board that recognize the spell to count up depends on the damage he or she take on that round.) And a troll that beholds 8+ card on your hand to give the eff on a big monster to absorb the damage wether offense or defence and heal back up thanks to the regen at the end of the round this deck gives the star spring a fast progression if "it works" that is the problem. And the 1 drop (0 3 ) that if she see you heal and ally grant +2 att. The rest of the cards is up to you since you are more experience on the legends of runeterra . 😁 I do watch all of your videos and always give me a great day since the game launch so stay safe out there , stay healthy man and see you tomorrow ( watching new refreshing game content) 😁👍
By the way, what do you feel would be a fair nerf to Lee Sin? I thought about changing the barrier into Tough would keep his identity and would be wayyy more balanced.

Sound like a great concept and each card you explain made sense in this archetype. However, I don't understand why there is Brightsteel protector and the challenger bird, I think some of the Shadow Isles early game cards would be better.

What should be changed with Lee Sin? His 6-cost version saw almost no play, so where's the middle ground? Four-cost 3/5 keeping Sonic Wave as his spell? I honestly don't know. I agree this version is busted, but previous version was not played, so.... shrug?

Really nice deck! I was wondering when you will think of a curve that decently fits Helia and it seems good. Without Helia it plays like an on curve Demacia deck, a bit boring imo but with Helia it almost feels like a combo deck with some serious planning ahead. Sadly I didnt get some Kalista action, but seeing Lucian in a deck that doesnt play him just as a 2 drop is nice too. Good job on this one!

Already made a similar deck, and yes it destroys people the only difference is i use a 9 drop also which is you guessed it brightsteel formation as a 2 of to end games.
As for the shadow isles version it was hard but i managed after a lot of tries and fails to find a really good way to survive with the help of vaults of helia before you ramp up for anivia lategame.

I'll be honest I don't pay that much attention to the meta cause:
1.- I mostly play unranked or expedition/other modes
2.- I'll try to play the champions I like.
However, the few times I have faced Lee sin is hard, and mostly a sure lost. Cause like you said in other videos, as a 4 Play points instead of six is way too powerful. And even with the "nerfs" to Bastion, the +1/+1 is still too much of a boon. They should do the following in the next patch:
1.- Nerf bastion to only grant spellshield
2.- Make Lee sin 6 Play point again.
I was entertaining the idea of making him just 5PP, but that's still too soon and he still has his kick once leveled up.
Maybe also make it like Ezreal and ask for more spells to level him up, cause unlike Fizz, he presents a lot of treat once leveled up.
