I am making banana bread at home while this song is playing in the background 😁 I just got home from vacation yesterday, and I have no work or assignments due today. It's such a fantastic movie, literally a 10/10
The beginning portion of this song made me tear up. My girlfriend, Lise took her life on November 3rd this year. She was from Fontainebleau and we loved each other. I don’t know what tormented her but when we would spend time, it was magical and we would watch this movie because it was the only Disney/Pixar movie she liked. I feel like I'm an avid traveler now because I watch movies and TV to escape from the stress of reality and life and I feel like the characters get how I'm feeling sometimes. I've also loved Ratatouille for a while and that movie still holds a special place in my heart.

Anyone else wish they could live in a world that this soundtrack accompanies? Yes, I know I could simply go to Paris (and wouldn't that be something?), but I mean specifically _Pixar_ Paris, with this glorious, romantic, hopeful music swelling all around you.
I dunno, man. Ratatouille has become my favorite movie since quarantine last year and now I'm obsessed- _Send help-_
EDIT: Just wanted to come back here real quick to say that I _might_ be going to Paris next summer!! Key word is "might," of course, but my family and I are already planning my potential trip! I feel nervous about the prospect of visiting a new country with an entirely different language and culture all on my own (as well as finding time in-between my classes, and also possibly finding a job over there), but my fears aside, I also feel so happy that my dream of visiting France might actually be possible!! :D
EDIT No. 2: Alrighty, so the Paris trip didn't work out this year. But... someday. Someday, I'll get to France, even if it's the last thing I do. :)

You should go to disneyland Paris, they made a ratatouille attraction and when you walk around it its like little Paris with ratatouille vibes and music! Its small but really nice

C'est grâce à ce film que je veux être cuisinier et aussi grâce à la musique je vais faire un stage pour voir si le chef me prend et c'est un restaurant qui s'appelle le moulin de la galette et enfaite le restaurant il se situe en haut genre il faut monter et ta un parking et juste en face il y'a la vue sur tout Paris avec la tour Eiffel c'est magnifique.
Du coup j'ai intérè a me donner a fond pour ce stage

Ratatouille's my all-time favorite animated show. Just very comforting and nostalgic. It brings me back to the time I was still a little kid with no worries and problems.
Ratatouille soundtrack always be with me in different stages of my life. Still the best and empathetic movie from Pixar that encourages people to chase their dream. There'll be tremendous hardship on our journey, but with our will, everything is within our reach. That's why I love about Ratatouille :D

i’ve been going to disney world ever since i was little. and every time i’ve been, it was always with my grandma. i remember we’d always stop in the france pavilion at epcot just to sit and eat ice cream while staring at the lagoon.
sadly, she passed away in 2020 and i haven’t been to disney since. but my birthday is coming up and i’ve decided i will make a trip to epcot just to go to the france pavilion and eat ice cream while staring into the lagoon in remembrance of her.
She will be right there with you.

How wonderful that you got to share all those memories with your grandmother in Disney World throughout the years. The France pavilion at EPCOT is wonderful. There is a new Ratatouille-themed area and ride that opened in 2021 at EPCOT; I imagine you would love it.

Ratatouille is by far the best movie I have ever seen by Pixar! Being a hotel employee , I am working as a executive for Front office department, I changed all lobby music to Pixar BGM and the playlist starts from Ratatouille then Up movie BGM and so on so on!
It has always been my dream to work in a hotel in France or any other hotel in Europe and a single hasn't passed me dreaming and trying to get in one !

I was lucky enough to visit Paris last year and it was unforgettable I've been trying to replicate and recall the mentality and emotions I felt when I was there and this video has been on repeat. If I listen to this and close my eyes I am almost transported instantly back to the small side streets, the cobblestone paths along the Seine, and the glow of the city at dusk. I fell in love with that city and I hope I can return soon. J'ai rêvé!

I visited Paris last summer, and I enjoyed every second of it. When i came home, i was reading a book i bought in Shakespeare and Company ( a famous bookstore in Paris) and was listening to this while reading and I felt so happy and sad (mainly cause i missed Paris more). There's a reason why Ratatouille will always be Pixar's magnum opus and the OST plays such a big role in that 😭Listening to these ambient music vids make me think about my Disney trip last Jan with my best friend who's dream was to go to Disney for the first time (and America in general). The Ratatouille ride was one of our highlights and I wish I had taken more pics, but the memory of the experience always comes to mind whenever I hear the ost and that's just as good if not better than a few pictures

Awww I'm so sorry. I've had pet rats too - most recently, a group of three sweet brothers who all passed away from old age in 2023. I miss them so much and still get tears in my eyes when I think about them, even though it's been more than a year. The only bad thing to say about rats is that they can't stay with us for longer. I enjoyed my time in Paris so much, this makes my homework so much easier. It's like I'm in a loft, in my study, and when I'm finished I'll walk to a cafe for a coffee and fresh croissant before we head to the Eiffel Tower. ❤️ Makes me yearn to study there and soak up the sights and sounds once again.
