I've heard that the poor geishas are struggling because of the covid19. I was wondering how the maikos were doing. Hope this virus goes away so that we can all return to normal.. and I can make my trip to visit this beautiful ladies.
Yes, it has affected everyone along with them. Although this past weekend was a long weekend and Kyoto was full of people. I am happy to see the locals able to enjoy their city. I did speak to one okamisan and she said she actually enjoyed the silence. I think they rely mostly on regular customers so they aren't affected too much when tourists aren't around.
