I love the throwback, it’s so fun ! I’d love to see a “nail art through the decades” type series .
Agreed!’
I love that you dove into the author’s history and linked to her current projects instead of just using the book for content and moving on. That’s real support right there!
Seriously!! I just went and bought two of her books, I've never really seen someone go into the history of nail art or someones nail journey :)
I would LOVE to see this as a series! These designs were so cool, and definitely gave a throwback vibe.
Nail history is something I never knew i needed but i loved this!!
Absolutely continue!
Def want more of these.. would love to see you following the book for 1 nail then doing your own spin on it for the next
doing one nail is a different design from the books would be so fun!!
I really enjoyed the information you told us as you doing your nails.
It be awesome if you kept doing more nail art videos from the two books,it was a throwback definitely. I love it.
I'm loving the stained glass nails ❤ and yes, please do more designs from the book! It's giving old school and I'm here for it
A striper or “striping polish” is a bottle of nail polish where the brush is a skinny striping brush. It’s all attached, like a regular bottle of nail polish but skinny
On a Sunday is a pleasure, especially when I’m off
I loved this video! Shouts to you for sharing her story. That acronym is hilarious. I’m going to look her up and get a book. Please more designs from the books! They look so neat on our modern way of wearing nails long or short.
More of this! from this book, loved it!!!
Definitely do a series! Definitely do more! So cool and I’m glad you talked about the author!
A full set with 10 different randomly chosen designs from this book would be a nice way to see more of the designs ☺️
I love this! Yes, History of nails series! More design from the book!
I appreciated the information provided as much as the designs today. Thanks!
This was so interesting and so much fun! I also always appreciate when you show that you don't get things perfect the first time. It has really helped my confidence, because you always persevere and make something incredible. ❤
Seriously!! I can get so down on myself for the time it takes or mistakes but I love these awesome nail girls who are real with us
I love how this video was done! The designs were gorgeous I’d love if you did a nail art history series while you do your nails!
i genuinely enjoyed listening to the author's info and the history of the book. Also, the basketcase nails are such a throwback, it reminds me of the tribal design trend from 2012
These books are so good I can’t stop using. Easy to learn styles and techniques thanks Emily 😊
i would also love to watch a nail art history series thing!
This was such a fun video! Definitely a throwback. I think it would even be fun to go to tumblr and find some throwback designs to recreate
Please make more videos on this!! This is one of my favorite videos you've ever made ❤❤❤
I loooove this video idea, definitely will like more from the same or the second book 💕
The stained glass nails came out so pretty!
I would love to see more from book 1 and definitely also stuff from the second one 💖
Yes do more! I love this idea!!
YES. MORE NAIL HISTORY PLEASE
I think this is probably one of my favorite videos of yours and i like all of your videos. 💜
I love this! I’m in nail school and I love Learning history regarding nails and nail designs. Thank you Emily🩷✨
Ahhh I saw the thumbnail and my jaw dropped! I got this book from urban outfitters in 2012 and I did pretty much every design 🥰 so nostalgic! I would beg my mum to take me to London so I could get my nails done at WAH - never happened 😂
I think this was really fun. I'd love to see this as a series.
Wow pretty. Thanks for your time
This is such a fun idea 😮 I would love to see what other designs are in the book ❤
I remember going to WAH nails in topshop on Oxford street in London. They were always busy but you could shop around and even get a bubble tea/ frozen yoghurt whilst you waited 😭 topshop was a haven but WAH nails was revolutionary for the nail scene. A lot of us saved up to avoid going to the £10 acrylic shops to have a WAH set instead!
I hope the lady sees this video. Can you imagine how good you would feet to see one of the top UA-cam nail artists to be using your book as a reference for a video ❤❤❤
Hey, Emily. You look absolutely ethereal right now. Your skin is glowing and you remind me of some kind of really whimsical fairy. Just thought I should mention it, because you are stunning❤️
I think these are my favorite by far ❤❤❤
I would love another video of you doing more nail art out of that book ❤
😍 This is giving “Murder, Mystery, & Manicure” and I’m here for it!
Yes more designs please I remember seeing those on Pinterest
Loved this video so much, a series would be great ❤
Loved that, please please do more, perhaps you could print your own book on nail design Emily! ❤
Oh wow, I love the idea of you basing a video around a book. Can not wait to watch! Would you be able to tell me where you purchased your liner brush that has water/glitter flowing through the brush & it is yellow & blue? I am assuming it is a set, so I would love to add to my collection ❤
Glitter planet/nail mate! :)
@EmilySusanah Thank you so much. It was really interesting learning about the nail influencer & the work she has done. Please do more videos like this. Love history in general, lol 🖤
i really love it and i think im gonna recreate the blue and the black lines . plz keep going in these series 🥰
Oh I really love this concept!! You are so creative ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I would love to see the other designs from this book
Please do more of these!

Love this! Yes, do more videos like this ❤
Id love to see more! This was fun
I would love to see more vids like this!
This was really fun! Hope to see more😊
It would be neat to see more old/vintage styles and hear more about nail history and the people involved
This was a really fun watch!! I would love if you did more of these, maybe a different design for each nail if you’re up for it 😂🤍
I loved this concept! Ordering my copy now! 🥰
Emily can always make my days a little bit better!!!
I really enjoyed this video! Thank you for sharing.
u know that i'm a subscriber and i love how u were going deep about the author and not that deep on the nail's
YEs more nail art books!
2012 now being considered "throwback" makes me feel old af. 😂 But, these designs were cute! I would definitely love to see you do more of these videos. I couldn't imagine doing these kind of designs with regular nail polish. 😮 I absolutely HATE using regular nail polish in general, but using it for designs like these? Ain't no way! 😂
This was so cute idea and I felt like you talking about the book made it even better.
I'm obessed with japanese nail art like the sucre salon so I think it would be fun to if there're even books about japanese nail art.
Loved learning nail art history!
I liked the story telling about the author while we watched
i grew up loving wah nails wow i completely forgot all about them 😭
She sounds like a true traditional feminist, definitely what society lacks today
Yay!!
loved this
Its crazy how far nail art has came like the fact most people didnt use gel polish at home just 10-15 years ago
It would be so much content to just pick out a different design every week. It is so much fun to watch. I can't wait to c more!!❤❤❤ plus you could do your updated take on some of those designs. Can't wait for the next one!
Now I need a room tour
Ma'am, you need to do the early 2000s Klutz nail art book!!!!
Your designs are amazing. You guide and inspire in great detail. Thank you very much💖
Pretty sure I got this exact book on one of my birthdays back in the day 🥹 so cute!
I love the stained glass nails 😍 please do more from this book
I would love to see more of this!! It was so fun to see "retro" designs on long, modern nails.
You should do more of this, I love your challenges. It's just more interesting than just doing a set. You always add a fun twist.
These are so cute, Emily. Please do this again.
I NEVER REALISED IT WAS ZINE LIKE MAGAZINE! all these years I've been pronouncing it like vine 😭😭😭
😭🤣
more please!
WE NEED MORE NAIL VIDEOS, DO WHAT EVER, I WILL WATCH IT 🤌🤌🤌❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❣️❣️❣️❣️🫶🫶🫶🫶

PLEEEEEEASE TURN THE BOOK IN TO A *series* !! It’s so cool seeing where we started 😎😏😂😂😂
This is a brilliant idea, I'd love to see you do lots more of these designs ❤
Loved this, more please!
Do you have snapchat where we can see more of your life on a non creepy status ? I adore you n would love to see more of what a day in your life is like. I am a nail technician but I do not do nails anymore. Lost passion.. but you bring life back to em!
I love the throwback art - I'd love to see a series of it, through the decades or finishing out this book - but I'd LOVE even MORE a series highlighting important women like Sharmadean Reid.
Do more of these nails
I have a nail art book somewhere, would have to find it first because I don't remember the name of it. It has some really cool designs in it. I'd love to see you do more designs out of the books 🙂
Well now I want to redo my 2012 era nail art sans IG filters. Omg did I abuse filters. 😂😅
I absolutely loved this video and the concept I would love to watch more videos like this that give a little peek into history of nail design and have you re-creating these designs.
Love the video super cute and a cool idea also what's the lip color you're wearing so cute as well, Love you Emily❤
can we do stained glass triangles? it would be cool to combine two designs together.. see where it takes you!
Apart from the draw my nails series I think this is my favorite video from your channel
Omggg Im pretty sure i had this book
I love the way both came out! Yes, do more!
You are so pretty and you are so good at nails. I started doing my nails at home becuse of you so thank you so much.
Omg WAH nails! I remember that salon I went there to get my nails done once, literally best nail salon in London. It’s so hard to get fun designs done here, most salons don’t want to do anything too extravagant, it’s why i started doing my own nails.
I would love to see you do a throw back design mixed with what’s trending now. ❤
I loved this! I really liked learning some nail art history. I would love a series of this.
Btw you should totally use that template for the next subscribers draw my nails!
