@@donnabartoli I had very similar fears around the anesthesia and what it could do to my body…I’ve been taking a supplement called Heal Fast, combined with a binder pill to help my liver in the detox process. I wanted all the meds/anesthesia out of my body as quickly as possible! Perhaps you’d be interested in those also! 😊

I’m about to turn 34, always loved sports and had a healthy lifestyle when I was younger, but in my middle twenties I neglected myself, I ate too much, toxic relationships, loosing sight of my goals, when I turned 30 I could feel my body being tired, myself being different not as happy, not feeling young, energetic anymore, inflamed, but this year I chose to change that and to take serious care of myself, a few days ago I found your youtube channel, I love it, so inspiring! Thanks

I’ve always wanted a breast reduction (I’m a E/F cup with a small back), but have been too afraid of the surgery. They have always affected my confidence. Interestingly it’s always been other women that have made me feel uncomfortable about my breasts, as they seem to assume I’ve had implants as they are so out of proportion with the rest of my body. In the last few years I’ve made my peace with them. Yes, they make shopping for clothes that fit a nightmare, but I now tend to stick to brands whose clothes I know fit me.
I think you are right to be concerned about anaesthestic. I’ve been in and out of hospital over the last few years , due to chronic illness, and anaesthetic and procedures do take a toll on your body. Yes, it might not be detectable in your blood after a few days, but it still takes a while to fully recover. My cousin who is a doctor and my aunt who is a nurse have both told me that regardless of your procedure it really takes the body 6 months to fully recover. So keep that in mind. I wish you the best in whatever you decide.

I am 47 and had a reduction with lift about 7 years ago. It was painful and more recovery than I thought. But it was the BEST thing ever. So much more comfortable. Would totally recommend. I am in the US and due to the breast size and amount taken the reduction was covered with a small deductible only. The lift was included in a reduction.

I felt exactly the same way. I had my surgery in October of 2023. I’m so happy and so grateful they are absolutely perfect.I wish I would have done it earlier. I am also an extremely nervous person when it comes to these things. It was a breeze. I had mine done in Manhattan NYC by Dr. Cap Lesesne of park avenue. He actually wrote a book called “ Confessions of a park Avenue Plastic Surgeon “. who also has a practice in London ironically enough.

Hi Donna, I hope you are well. Judging by your lifestyle i'm pretty sure you are well. I literally came across your channel by a sheer fluke just over a week ago. I find you and your lifestyle absolutely fascinating. We are SO very different in our life choices. We are at complete ends of the scale but there is something about you that i find really calming and fascinating. Your approach to your healthy well being is totally mind blowing. I'm 52 and i wish i had your glowing wrinkle free skin. Can i just ask why are you so passionate about longevity? Was there a pin point in your life that made you want to pursue this lifestyle? I shall continue to watch your channel as its so interesting and informative plus your a super beautiful lady who seems down to earth. Oh and i loved your dad. He seems quite the joker. 😂

Regarding the breast reduction and lift, it’s something I’ve wanted for 20 years. My mom was even more chesty, but my mom is actually taller and has a larger frame than me. It’s just that I’ve only recently had an IV for a scan. I’ve never had kids, so I’m nervous about being cut. Thank you for sharing this information.

Thanks for sharing. I had reduction surgery 20 years ago and I was disappointed because I was never as small as I wanted after. I was told I would be a C up after and I have never been able to wear antyhing smaller than a D or Double D. I was told I had a lot of breast tissue. I have always hated having large breasts since a teenager. It has made me feel and look obese. I never look in mirrors if I can avoid it and hate pictures of myself and especially group pictures because you stand out. I am now looking to have another reduction surgery and I absolutely DO NOT want anything other than a B or even A cup versus having a C cup. My first surgery and recovery was very smooth and recovery quick, but it is devasting to save that amount of money for surgery and then still end up with a smaller than original, but still way too large chest.

When i was young my mother had a breast reduction. She said it was the best thing she ever did. She had large breasts and she was so small 5’1 small boned and thin. She found it heavy and the bra left definite marks on her shoulders. I often think about having one myself as I have the same problem. If it feels right do it !

My mom had a lift and an implant to help with elasticity. I definitely would say a B if that is what you truly want. She was talked into a C because it was most requested like Dr. A said. Now, 10 years later she still does not like the size and the C is too big. Stick you your gut :) - also from across the pond in the states and love your content. I’m 37 and have so many gut health issues and celiac disease. Just beginning my healing journey and it’s a bit overwhelming. It’s lovely to follow someone on the other side of healing. Do you have a recommendation for oatmilk or a great recipe for someone who can’t have dairy?

Even though I understand that you want to do this procedure, please do not confront plastic surgery with longevity. It is quite the contrary. You are conscious that with the statement "if you don't like something about yourself, change it", said in this context, you do encourage your audience to do plastic surgery, right? Nearly every woman is bothered by something in her appearance. There are other ways, holisic ways, to deal with that. Such a statement is very irresponsible and dangerous!

I’m only half way through but really interesting listening to your consult with Dr A. I would love to hike up my boobs by a couple of inches, no size change but just get them higher. Also terrified of anaesthetic, only been under it once about 30 years ago and spent over a week feeling like rigamortis had set in, every bit of my body hurt. Sounds like things have improved dramatically since then.
Ok now you’ve got me fantasising about Tom Hardy coming out of my shower smelling like the lord of the forest .. I’m never going to get through this vlog before my battery runs out!

I’ve been watching your videos from the beginning of your UA-cam venture and have really enjoyed your content, but I’ve found myself feeling a little uncomfortable and somewhat triggered by your “if you don’t like something change it” approach. It’s not a viable option for many of us (for all sorts of reasons - whether it be health, finances etc. etc.) to just simply change a body part if we don’t like it, even if it causes us discomfort. Also there’s a concern for any young women watching this who might feel encouraged to go ahead with a procedure that isn’t necessary - over a positive state of mind and acceptance …and learning to embrace the “imperfections” that make us all individual and unique.
    Please be mindful of this.
Final thought is your teeth are already so lovely as they are - they’re unique to you and give you a smile that’s beautifully Yours.
