This is such a nice room. So much better than hostels that I stayed in more than ten countries. Definitely will make a plan to visit Japan again and experience this kind of hotel.
Wow, that's really impressive for what I know about capsule hotels. When I was a teenager, my mother married someone she shouldn't have, and we had to live out of extended stay motels, and I always wondered if Japan had rules on how long people were allowed to stay in hotels/motels (is there a difference in Japan?).

The only $30 rooms in America are shared rooms in a Hostel. You can't use public transportation and get a cheap clean room like in Japan. You guys are lucky. You have ferries that are like cruise ships. We don't have that in America.
Oh my God ! This is cheaper, cleaner and more civilized, than virtually anywhere in the western world ! Why does everyone say Japan is super-expensive ? Everything looks spotless. Incredible value !
Because many places in Japan ARE expensive. Especially if you want a door that locks. 😂 But seriously, look at the prices of their sleeper trains. Super expensive for a one night stay.

Stayed in one of these couple years ago when i was in Tokyo. I had booked it for 4 nights but sadly after the first night i had to move to a different hotel.
