Originally completed as a single 1 hour film, MOAB : Pilgrimage to the Promised Land, has been broken down into a 6 part series and documents the week long pilgrimage we made with our friends to attend the Easter Jeep Safari back in 2010. In Episode 2, you will get to join us on our first real day out in Moab, meet more of our friends from around the country (including Mark Allen - Senior Manager of Chrysler's Truck Studio/Mopar Underground) and experience the run we did across the Seven Mile Rim Jeep Trail. Along the way, you'll get to see famous sights such as the Uranium Arch, the Merrimack and Monitor Buttes and, you'll even get to see us negotiate our way across a mind screwing off camber rock face and, take on the challenging but way fun Wipeout Hill. Of course, just as we were about to head back to town and with the sun still out, fate would have a funny way of keeping us on the trail a bit longer. We hope you will enjoy it.
More than just a trail, Moab is a destination. It's what many like to refer to as, "the promised land." It's a beautiful off-roading paradise, sculpted out of red rocks and with breathtaking views every which way you look. And, it's a place that most Jeepers hope to make a pilgrimage to at least once in their life. - Авто та транспорт
i am from France and i ve been living in Socal for 3 years!! you guys are my absolute amrican dream
The kind of work/fixes theses guys preform in the field is amazing!
@dpredki thank you. we're so glad that you enjoy our videos :)
Another amazing video by a person that revolutionized the JK by taking it to the next level. Five stars to you Eddie and the whole crew. Cheers !!
you got me hooked a year ago with the MOAB Experience and The Rubicon Vids i really like that this time it is commentated and more interaction with the Jeepers
Keep it up!!!
@bbp315 that's great to hear and i'm glad that we've been able to make improvements to what we do
i own both and can tell you that a 4-door is what i prefer. when built up just a little, the longer wheelbase is a big benefit.
Thank you
@Running925 LOL!! well, we weren't sure how it would be received but glad to know so many like it.
thank you, you're too kind
thank you
@ursman777 wow - of all the compliments we've gotten over the years, this is by far the most flattering, thank you
Amazing soundtrack! Well done!!
Thank you. Glad you liked it 😎
Another awesome vid . Just like everyone else cant wait for the next 4 videos on this Pilgrimage to the Promised Land .
I'm ready to go back, Moab was a blast
I wish us Aussies had trails like that. lov'n it. Keep up the vids.
@kjsdad21 thank you for the kind words. if you haven't already seen it, we do have episode 3 up now :)
Without a doubt you make the best Jeep wheeling videos on UA-cam. Amazing looking trails, I'll have to make the trip down from Canada one of these days.
@jackmacokc bummer you won't be making it back out this year but, we are really glad that you were at least able to join us last year.
Absolutely love part two...can't wait for the others! The year I turn 40 my plan is to drive my jk down to California and go on a tour with you guys! The Rubicon, Moab...it would be epic! It would be a long drive from Ontario but well worth it! Looking forward to part 3...
Wayalife I don't have a Jeep, and I am fairly new to the world of wheeling, but I must say how much I love your videos! They are filmed and edited very professionally and they have such amazing soundtracks! I saw a Jeep with a Wayalife visor decal the other day and was excited to know exactly what it was for! Keep up the productions!
Another great video guys! Keep up the amazing work, I look forward to every video you guys put up. You do a great job! Makes me proud to own a JK!!
@billdojeepin Thank you, we're so glad that you're liking it :)
thank you wayalife, I'll look at it every day for the next seven days while waiting for the 3rd part ;))
Loving the series!
Very cool once again! man, I have lived in Utah my entire life & never once have I taken one of the many Jeeps I have owned down to Southern UT....someday my friends...someday!
cool great job as always looking forward to the rest!
@ciarlienchi LOL!! we're glad to hear that you enjoyed it enough to watch it more than once.
@J1I1M3 thank you, we really do appreciate it.
You guys are fast becoming the Warren Miller of wheelin! Another great vid guys!
Thanks for sharing such AWESOME videos with the JK world guys!!!
@EverorWoWDruid Thank you, we're so glad that we've been able to capture and convey what Moab is really like. I hope that you are able to come out someday and experience it for yourself.
@jaysayershuh LOL!! so glad to hear it and yes, we allow anyone who can make it out join us on runs :)
Loving the new comentated video's.
Class Act!
@gr8ful68 thanks - so glad you're liking them :)
Very good video ! I'm waiting for the part 3.
@kenotic personally, i wouild get a rubicon if for no other reason than the fact that it comes with a 4.1 transfer case. the e-disco is really nice too and, having lockers from the get go is good to have as well especially if you're not planning to go too big all at once.
That was awesome
ive said this many times before, your videos are amazing.
@truedeadman so glad you like them :)
Great. Loved it.
Great video and it looks like a really fun time. Those Jeeps are way too shiny though. Hopefully by the end of the series we'll see some dents, dings and mud on those things!
As always top notch video! Looking forward to the next one already. :-)
@L2S408 thanks and hopefully someday you will be able to get out there with your jeep :)
Lovin it. Can't wait to go to EJS this year.
can't go wrong with toyo's. nitto's are great too
@AlpineTribe that's awesome :)
I like the Toyota in the background at the beginning.
if you're referring to moab, you can go in anything. if you're talking about wheeling with us, it just depends on the run.
Nice vid guys. Btw thanks for making it mobile viewable, I watch most things on you tube on my phone so its easy to keep up on everything while I wait on everyone else Lol!
@ANGSTUSN glad you enjoyed it :)
@TheXJthatCould glad you liked it :)
Man, i love watching your videos, not just for the stuff you guys do, its the video quality too. Getting to learn a lot from your videos. I live in dubai, and have finally made up my mind on a 2 door and not a 4 door jeep wrangler. I have wanted a wrangler ever since i watched the movie "blow". keep up the great work and i agree with andrew30540.
@unwrappedbox in places like moab, for sure but on something like the dusy, no. still, i have driven 2-door jeeps for a long time but i love my unlimited and wouldn't want to go back.
Sweet Video!!
man if i could, id go all the way from Puerto Rico, we just dont have places like this. Great videos!!
Great Vid!
I wheeled with Merrick years ago!! It was odd in another of your vids to hear "Nice Driveway"... I couldnt believe it when it was him!!! Tell him Kevin/Alpine Spirit says hi.
You do amazing editing in all of your videos. 👍🏼
@sweetleader awesome, you really should if you can
GREAT video. nice wheeling
awesome vid
@unknown303 thank you and i hope you can make it down one of these days
Serious props to the camera person(s)!!!
@andersonb44 yup, we always make it a point to drive all the way out and back. these are JK's after all and, we love using them as much as possible. :)
i have always wheeled a stick and love it because it's what i know best. i do own an auto now as well and can tell you that wheeling it is like cheating. seriously, if you have to ask this question, you should get an auto. you'll have a lot more fun wheeling with it.
if you guys sold these series' i'd buy them cause they're so good!
@slave2misery LOL!! most of our jeep is filled tools, recover gear, fluids and a welder. we just have to get creative in how we pack ;)
@floridagremlin42069 the snorkel is made by aev and it comes with a pre-filter
@MrASURJ well, after the cost of the jeep itself, most will end up spending about $5k just to get it to the point where it can do most trails. to get it to the point where we have our white one, that's a whole other story.
Wish I could bring my XK, looks like a blast.
@zephyr206 so you know, you should be able to watch most of our videos over on our main website w w w . project-jk . com. please note that we are not the ones who control what can or can't be seen on a mobile device. occasionally, we use tracks that are blocked in germany for some reason and when this happens, youtube makes it so that the video cannot be seen on a mobile device - not us.
@wayalife thank you! :)
@NickAgr a few came down the left side but most went up the right. on a trail like this, we only run about 12 psi. i think brian, the orange one was closer to 5-8
and i love the video, awesome lol
@Sneadster LOL!! honestly, we wheel with anyone who wants to join us :)
@franklouw7 awesome, thanks :)
Enjoyed it much more in full screen :)
@prophetfgsm HAHAHA!! okay, that was awesome
9:42 Really nice to see an original two door Wrangler.. ;0)
have a jk, but thats my parents. i bought a 2009 tacoma with a 6 speed manual. love them both!
@gr8ful68 LOL!! it was awesome that jeff could do that with a straight face
@blackstripes4 if you're in 4LO and got a manual transmission, you can stick in first and engine brake your way down. if you have an auto, all you can do is brake.
@amtrobia thank you :)
@Cdyspeed well, i sure hope you like the other 4 coming your way :)
@m3bassman1 all the songs are listed in the credits at the end of part 6
if you have to ask, i would say auto - they are way easier to wheel.
@bastaki22 being that you'd want a hemi installed and bigger axles to support the power, i might just get the sahara and use the money you save for the upgrades.
@chrishoyt161718 LOL!! i think frank and brenda were thinking the same thing. fortunately, it was just the cable had popped off
@TripoliVegas it has about 4" of lift running 35's
@theoriginalmodz thank you
Thank you for sharing. Some one made mention of having lockers what locker is better a Detroit or air? Oh yeah another beautiful ride on you tube.That one ledge looked like real white knuckler.
@flipam100 actually, that might have been trail bud and, he has his attached to his rock hard sport cage center bars.
Our white Jeep is running the 3.8
@metalheadfrlife22 nah, moab has all kinds of trails for different build and skill levels.
GOD DAMMIT! All the stuff i need to live is in your videos: JEEP! BACON! ALCOHOL!
hard to say, if you're just running the old 4 banger, i might just get a 4.0 straight 6. if you're looking for a big improvement in power, a v8 would be the way to go
I would buy them too and put them in my vacation rentals in Durango CO for tourist destinations.
@cr7ei any mud terrain will produce some noise. some more than others.
@AZ49erFan I suppose there's no reason why you couldn't. You'd just be limited to which trails you could run :)
@blackstripes4 there's nothing wrong with using the brakes, just use them sparingly and only as needed while engine braking.
