    Episode 6 of MOAB : Pilgrimage to the Promised Land is the last in the series and in it, we decide to go against our better judgment, throw caution to the wind and take on one of the most challenging trails in the Moab area -- Behind the Rocks. With over 20 Jeeps along for the run, this would be the biggest group we've had with us all week and you'll get to see us take on imposing obstacles such as Guardian Hill, High Dive and Upchuck. About halfway through the trail, our group will only be about half as big as many decide to play it safe and head back to town. For the ones who remained, you'll get to see them spin their tires to the top of Hummer Hill, have fun rolling down the Rollercoaster and conquer their fears as they take the plunge off of the intimidating, White Knuckle Hill. We hope that you'll enjoy this final installment of our 6 part video series and, we'll hope to see you in Moab!
    More than just a trail, Moab is a destination. It's what many like to refer to as, "the promised land." It's a beautiful off-roading paradise, sculpted out of red rocks and with breathtaking views every which way you look. And, it's a place that most Jeepers hope to make a pilgrimage to at least once in their life. Originally completed as a single 1 hour film, MOAB : Pilgrimage to the Promised Land, has been broken down into a 6 part series and documents the week long pilgrimage we made with our friends to attend the Easter Jeep Safari back in 2010.

    I can't tell you all how excited I am about being a JK owner. My entire family (wife, 6yr old, & 3yr old boys) gets so excited every time we go out trail riding, mudding or rockcrawling. Thank you for the GREAT video series. I can't wait until we get an opportunity to go to Moab. I have no doubt that even with only a leveling kit and factory tires that we will be able to have a lot of fun!

    After watching the 'Promised Land' series several times now, Eddie's comments at 11:08 on Part 6 get me a little misty-eyed every time. I've FINALLY made plans to come out to Moab for the first time in late April. I'm SO looking forward to it!!!

    @floridagremlin42069 hard to say for sure without looking at what you have but, you could always just put a tip at the end of the muffler and have it point down. you may need to add an additional exhaust hanger to make it work.

    @FrogJeep420 depends on how hard you intend to play. you'll want to gusset your axle c's for sure and run chormoly front axle shafts but aside from that, you can make it work. turning will be harder and a ram assist will help out with that too.

      The bummer thing is that back when we made all these videos, UA-cam allowed the use of copyrighted music and the producers made money off of links to buy the tracks. Somewhere along the line, they changed the rules and made it seem like we did something wrong. It's been frustrating.

  • @wayalife
    @wayalife  12 років тому

    @TalleyDallasTX none of the 4-doors are running 6" of lift and only a few are running long arms. yes, they are running 37's or 40's but, the burgandy 2-door is running long arms with 38's and lockers front and rear. the green 2-door is running 4" of lift, big 35" toyo's and lockers front and rear. i own both a 4-door and a 2-door JK and have wheeled a built up TJ for a long time - the 4-door is what i prefer.
