Ugh feel better! I'm on day 5 of covid at the moment. It's no joke. I'm vaccinated and boosted but these new variants are ruthless. I started with a sore throat and by day 3 I had a high fever, no appetite, body aches and chills, a massive headache, cough, and a lot of congestion. I could barely get out of bed on day 3 but now by day 5 I'm doing a lot better. This is my first time with Covid as well.
I was told this morning I got it, I felt great yesterday up until about 5pm, then I got weak, sore throat , bad sore throat, nausea and short of breath, then I couldn't sleep I'd wake up continously , my nose stopped up, I felt like it was strep, with my throat pain I said I bet it's strep no doubt, well I was wrong, this is my 3rd time having it.
My teeth are even hurting I thought. Was crazy, how's covid make your teeth hurt that makes no sense, then I saw a video from a doc where he said it's actually known to do that, where your gums , mouth and teeth ache
You ain’t lying. This new variant are ruthless. I’m on day 5 and I’m finally better. But the first couple days were tough. The body aches and headaches were no joke. It’s cray how I got all the symptoms especially after being fully vaccinated.
@@kupalface im on day 5 covid and its done me hard especially cough, it like a nasty cold
I hope you all feel better soon, I’m on day 6 and I’ve had ENOUGH🫠
I have Covid now and this is the second time. Both times it has been like a very mild flu. Not vaccinated. I attribute that to my mild symptoms and quick recovery.
I never got the clot shot shot either. Your best defense us your body building an immunization naturally. I have a mild case now.
Thanks for sharing your symptoms, I’m on day 7 of covid and it sounds the same. First three days were the most awful ever :((( I’m still having some nose congestion but it’s way better than a couple of days before. My head though is still sort of brain fogged. Will have to figure it out how to clear it away.
How do you feel I am day 5 with Covid still feel awful but better then I did yesterday or day before symptoms were terrible day 3
Just got over mine. I started around Thursday July 21st with a scratchy throat and the next day was mild fatigue, low energy and mild body aches, which all lasted several hours and later turned into a headache and a 102 deg. fever in the evening. Day 3 and the rest of the days were just cold symptoms with a cough, runny/stuffy nose and low-grade fever with little to no appetite. Lost my smell and taste for a couple of days, too. Still have a small lingering cough to this day but my smell and taste are mostly back. Thankfully, I didn’t feel too bad.
Vaxxed and boosted here!
Vaxxed and boosted and still got covid how are u proud of that even tho u still got covid?
Made it the whole way thru the pandemic wiithout too. Tested positive today. 🥴😫 Was your fever high? Sorry if you mentioned this, I'm only like 3 min into the video. Lol
My fever was a straight 101.5 - 103 for two days then it broke. Miserable!
I went to Disneyland and came back with cov-19 on July 21. Headache really bad… really really bad, fever body aches and the cough. Stayed in bed for 3 days. Husband made me chicken soup. Tested negative after day 7. 😊
I took paxlovid but I was allergic to it, so I stopped taking it by day 3.
I had the OG variant in 2020, got vaccinated last year, and now I have the Vid again.
A lot worse symptoms this time!
Day 4 currently. Get well wishes for everyone
looks like we were in the same boat. ive gone the whole of the pandemic without catching it and now here i am a week before my 21st birthday and ive caught it... IM FULLY VACCINATED. and i was literally so surprised when i tested positive yesterday
@@alexandria65 I’m aware of this now
Hope that you are doing well 🙏🏽
I had covid in April all I did sleep nonstop was so tired no taste or smell
Emma, I tested positive 2 weeks ago. Same symptom, no fever, but 14 days later, still exhausted and get a little winded when trying to do things, but try to walk every day. How are you feeling, and when did you feel yourself again?
was it hard for you to breathe? the lungs suffer so much😮💨 Glad u better now!
Same dealing with it
Saaaame! The shortness of breath & chest pain is sum else .. but hey you just hang it there. You’ll get thru this, I believe it ✨✨✨
Got covid for the first time. Tested positive 2 days ago. I'm 56 and a bit overweight. Fully vaccinated plus booster. Headache, runny nose, sore throat and body aches. I'm so scared but trying to be brave. Just reading and watching other people's experiences for helpful hints and peace of mind. Get better soon everybody!
How are you feeling now
@@california7138 Thank you so much for asking. My runny nose is gone and headaches better. I developed a cough around day 6 and still have it and feel a little bit winded but no serious breathing issues. I have no fever but still get the chills. Just taking regular cold medicine just for some relief but I know they aren't designed for covid. I hope you are doing well. Sometimes it gets lonely in this world so I appreciate you asking how I was doing. Take care.
@@andreagrace7676 anytime girl I’m glad you’re doing somewhat better hang in there I am on day 5 and this is living hell
I’m on day 4. Body aches have slowed down but my chest is hurting a lil bit. I hope you all heal up quickly. Let’s put those masks back on!
Same, I’m actually on day 9 no more symptoms at all .. but my chest hurts, no other issues … what’d you use for your chest pains ? I was concerned and visited the ER but they just said that comes w/ covid … I guess I have to wait until it goes away on its own.
@@HaileyMarieGrande how are you feeling now?

Oooo good to know!! I would def get it again it was yummy! And thank you 🥰
where was the sweater you were wearing during the grocery haul? get that link commission girl lol I want to buy it!
hahah I had the same experience with the tests. I probably have taken over a hundred of them since 2019, and I too thought I was just invincible, and then BAM Covid 2022
emma!! keep up your vids you’re amazing :)
Thank you!! That means a lot 🥰
Hope you get better soon I have covid too it’s not fun xxx
Hope you recover soon!! 🫶🏼
i just got it thursday for the first time in 3 years, im way older and babaayyy its rough! Ima nurse and have been taking care of patients with covid for 3 years and dosdged it still wearing mask, im pissed,,,day 4 still feel like crap,,,
Yeah, I dont know what made me more irate, when I first tested pos or when I last tested positive..... because I thought it was gone!!! Wtpoop?
Day 7 here and my voice is still really horse. Tired and have a cough but feel much better. The first 2-3 days were hell although my fever was low grade. I was using cold shortening Zicam. The Zinc and nasal swabs. The sore throat was brutal, I've never had a sore throat that bad. The cough, not fun. It was worse then any cold I've had but not as bad as Influenza A of 2016. I had a bad case and 103 fever of the flu so yea. Regardless it was still bad. I'm taking so many vitamins now trying to get my stamina back so I can go back to work Friday on day 9.
I relate . I got COVID 19 for the first time too . I was shocked
I was shook
No, time does not fly with Covid.
Is it normal to be a bit deaf when you have covid? Can any1 pls reply thxx
Nose, throat and ears are all connected, even a minor cold can affect ears. My nose is congested and I can hear some weird sounds in my ears when I swallow. It should go away together with the nose congestion. But if your feeling of deafness doesn’t go away in a couple of days, please consult a doctor.
@@katesukhanova5530 is it normal for armpits to hurt from covid?
Omg i’m on day 3 and said to my partner today i think im going a bit deaf, keep asking him to repeat himself.
Yes, have covid now for a week and congested ears started yesterday.. I am 65, unvaxxed due to extreme sensitivities to meds. and was always very well masked. But went to post office last week and no one else was masked and it took longer than I planned. No windows and door was closed and air felt stilted. I figured I might get it, (never had it before) and three days later I was exhausted and slept on and off for 17 hours. Then started sniffling with scratchy throat and a bit of laryngitis. Had low grade fever of 99.4 fir five days, temp now my normal 97. I didn't lose taste or smell but one day I had a hideous sour taste in my mouth, but it went away. I did not take Paxlovid as docs wanted bc of my age, but my lungs were clear, even with a steady cough. My ears are still clogged and music and phone sound softer. But I heard the congestion can linger. I feel pretty okay otherwise and was only tired that first day.
I have been taking 50 mg. zinc plus mod high does of C for immunity since I was 18. And been taking quercetin, d3, coq10, for over 20 years. Just drinking good old fashioned chamomile and green tea for congestion Also taking olive leaf extract for immunity.. Eating salmon, turkey and lots of greens with tumeric& fresh garlic. Meditating, trying not to worry, very important. The immune system is a miraculous thing and we can help it along with good nutrition and calm. Best to all!
Now, that’s a sweet friend. Mine only was around to borrow something. When I’m sick nobody around. Jealous!! Glad you better
I tested positive for covid in February 2021 and had all these symptoms. It was horrendous for 2-3 weeks. I also have lost my sense for smell and taste which lasted up until january-february 2022.
My 1st time on your page you make bad news sound positive and hopeful. Thanks for your energy
On day 3. I feel much better. I need to do a test on day 5. If I am negative, then I can go out with a mask on. It's less then a week before Thanksgiving. Wow this is not how I thought it would be.
I am fully vaccinated and boosted up to date. This must be a new strain. Wish me luck in getting well soon.
I thought that I was invincible too made it to sept 2022 without Covid. Vaccinated x4, most recent vaccine 4 days ago. Started with symptoms 2 days ago, seemed like a common cold. Made an appointment with my primary care to makes sure I didn’t have bronchitis as I have asthma. They did a rapid test in my car before they would allow me to come in the office. Took all of 2 minutes for it to come back positive. 😢honestly I feel like I have a cold, worst part was the extreme chills I got yesterday.
Hello any ideas on how you caught Covid and was your symptoms mild moderate or severe ! 🙏🏽❤️
Is Covid like the flu 😷
I’m 63 got diagnosed 2 days ago, I’m having repeated heart palpitations did a little reading apparently it’s common.
How are you feeling?
Hope you’re over it now. x
I got Covid 2 days ago, it’s been a hell of a road trip, I’m 11, turning 12 which means i haven’t gotten my third vaccination yet, but I guess since I’m a kid Covid isn’t as intense as most people are receiving, but just a couple days ago, I could hardly breath through my nose I was dizzy and very nauseous, I had a burning throat as well. Covid is not so friendly and my whole family caught it luckily I’m not the only one going through tiger painful virus!
I got covid in may and I’m vaccinated and boosted
Ps first RAT I did rhat day was Nadal only. 6 hours later when I re-tested I did a nasal AND throat swab, which was positive (same brand tests)
I had it too in June! 😞 drink plenty of fluids !! 🙏🏻

Why would you drink cold items during a viral infection
You're so cute! I loved it when you said "So crummy!" at 4:49. The way you said it was like funny and cute at the same time.
I tested positive this past Tuesday. I haven’t had Covid before this week. I’m a teacher and I guess I thought if I haven’t gotten it by now I must be
Immune! I’m vaccinated and had a booster. I had most of the same symptoms as you. I’m still so tired. I hope that subsidies soon. I’m glad you are feeling better!
The Strain is more contagious
My t line showed up pretty dark after 2 minutes, and it shocked me 🤣 on day 3; 2 days left
Mine did that today, it showed up faster then the control line
Same here just got over a month ago super sore throat
I'm also watching this while having covid. Like others, I'm finding a degree of comfort taking in other's experiences. I relate to the habitual testing, to have not having caught it until late into the pandemic. I'm fully vaccinated, 2 doses, 2 boosters and was going to get the omicron booster as soon as I was eligible for it where I live - which was at the end of this week!! In hindsight my first symtoms started a few days before I tested - voice was a tiny bit croaky, like I 'could' get a cold. I RAT tested Wed (neg) as was travelling Thursday. Saturday I felt off, tested, neg (I tested with EVERY vague symtom, so not uncommon). I had an ice pack on my neck to treat pain post spinal surgery I'd had several weeks before. I then felt really cold. So had a hot shower. It took AGES to warm up despite the shower being hot. Out of the shower I felt flushed. Took my temp, it was 39 deg C. This had happened post surgery to me before (temp spikes post a hot shower), so brushed it off. Went to work. Still felt flushed, checked temp, was 38. Felt ..off..thought I might be getting a post surgical infection due to the temp and ongoing really bad neck pain. So, RAT tested again (yes, 2nd time that day, but i work at a hospital, with vulnerable patients, hence ultra cautious), dunno why I did, maybe gut feeling deep down ... ..and couldn't believe it was positive!! Put a N95 on, left work straight away. By this time I had all over body aches, fever. Next day, jo fever, but bad headache, body aches. Next day, temp 38.8, felt AWFUL, no appetite, runny Jose, but no headache or body aches. Yesterday felt better. Appetite improving. Today, feels like a head cold, but fatigued. I HOPE I'm over the worst of it, but one thing I know about covid is, it's unpredictable and it's still possible I m8gjt feel really bad again.
I hope you feel better Emma ❤️
Thank you 🤍 pretty much back to normal now!

I have a question. last Monday December 12 of 2022.
I felt really bad I had body aches so I did a home test for covid it said that I had it so I did a other test it also said I had it all week it felt like I had a head cold nose running stop up felt run down. then Sunday December 18 I did a other test it still said the same thing that I covid . Monday felt like I had a bad head cold then Tuesday then Wednesday.. How long will this keep happening and it won't get worse right
Feel better I got Covid last year in May before I could get vaccinated

Ive never had covid and I have now. It is ruthless in the first day, I thought I was dying, I had high fever. Now in my third day, I lost my sense of smell and taste. Incessant coughing and colds. I knew I would get it as there were a lot of colleagues getting it last week, most of them never experienced it. I had a colleague who kept coughing and was not wearing a mask and insisted she was just having a flu and she found out she was positive. So pretty obvious, me and another colleague who share similar break time with that colleague who never used mask got covid. 😔
That coughing colleague was, to say the least, very selfish by not wearing a mask, and even worse. She should've called in sick!!
Thank you Emma I got covid-19 Monday but your videos keep me positive hope your doing better
One of my family member got covid and I started having symptoms. As soon as I felt it in my throat and body aches, I immediately started putting h202 in my ear, for 5 minutes and then sprayed several times a day. I feel fine now. I think that the h202 worked(fingers crossed). My family member is really sick, though. They don't believe in alternative treatments like h202 in the ear.
Hydrogen peroxide in ear? I’ll try, thank you 😊
But CDC guidelines you only have to quarantine 5 days and then a N95 mask in public so aren’t you able to get out of quarantine?
I’m like u I have not gotten it lucky! And I WORK IN HEALTHCARE (with residents) and I’ve been tested 76 times. So knock on wood but others I love have and some had it bad so I’m glad yours is mild!
Ur 1 time ever getting it ? Hope feel better
Currently Day 6 for me...still positive..still got an itchy throat. I wonder how long it will take to get to negative ?
How long did it take , I’m on day 6 most symptoms have lifted just fatigue and cough. Still positive.
