Hello , Pellegrinotes !! Welcome back for this month's reaction video . This month , we are reacting to , our baby , Dimash ! My mom and I had the pleasure of seeing Dimash live , in concert , in New York City back in December and a PLETHORA of you were asking for me and mommy to share our concert experience with you guys . So here it is !!

Daididau was such a significant moment at the concert for Dimash and the Dears. It fulfilled a dream he had at the age of 15 when they made the initial arrangement of the song. Singing in a big stadium in NY with the world singing back in his native language. Dears flew with hundreds of blue and yellow paper hearts in their suitcases so they could be handed out and the colors of the Kazakhstan flag could be lit up. A transliterated video (geared toward english speakers) was put out by Dimash USA fan club so the Dears could learn to sing along. I know that many Dears, along with myself, practiced hard so we were prepared to sing for him. He needed our help to fulfill his dream and we made sure it happened. And there were Dears from 68 countries around the world singing along. (Dimash USA took a poll). Within the USA, there were 43 states and 2 territories represented. Pretty awesome for his first USA solo concert, don't you think? I feel privileged to have been one of those voices in the crowd. ❤ Dimash + Dears. This memory never fails to produce a few tears.

I watched at least 5, 6 with Emi. Maybe are more but you know most of them can not afford a flight to go NYC, or maybe like me Thursday is a very difficult day to travel. 😁☺️
The song he opened with is Golden. Watch all versions. My favorite is just Dimash singing it. No one else was on stage and he still managed to fill it. The stars in Ogni Pietra seemed like they were filling the room. It was magical. I liked the part later in the show where he said, I forgot the words, but that is O.K. We were sitting across from Dimash when he played the Dombra. It was to closest he got to us and then he had to go up in the air! My luck.

Знал, что она будет на концерте Димаша в Нью - Йорке, тем более была в фанзоне (если это её съёмки), но почему-то долго не выставляла видео и реакцию с этого концерта.Любит Димаша и много реакций у неё на его выступления, ещё и маму приобщила к любви к Димашу. Lady, the instrument is called dombra, a local instrument of his country. It was Dimash's childhood dream that one day he will sing Kazakh song on international stage and makes his country proud of him. This concert is a realization of that dream. I read that this concert was organized by their Ministry of Culture. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR UPLOADING THIS VIDEO.

I watch you all the time too. I was going to go to Dimash’s concert but it did not happen. I am Wishing strongly he will visit my front yard Toronto Canada. Toronto dears had a Dimash Karaoke party just recently but we had a snow storm and I was too afraid to drive over one hr in the mess to attend. I so wanted to go. No I am thinking to go to Prague to see him I have family I never met there. I was five when I came to Canada.

Hi Emi, totally agree, this concert was full of positive energy, great dancers, awesome lighting and stage effects, and of course the beautiful voice of Dimash. Have been enjoying your reactions here on YT, along with your own music, you have a wonderful voice. We were fortunate to be sitting section 9 first row, thought I saw some blue hair, this confirms that you were there. Believe that first song is named, We are golden, or something like that . BTW, saw a post on FB, the girl who ended up with that jacket is from his country, now living in NY. Keep rocking it, much success in your own music journey.

He didn't sing wrong at all no, but SOS is a song that can pretty much be sung as the first couple of songs, or otherwise your throats too messed up. THAT AND - His earpiece was more messed up than usual. Doing runs w that would suck

Daididau is one of Dimash's most popular Kazakh songs for years )) That's why a lot of his fans even foreigners know the words (at least the chorus) and can sing it with Dimash. And Dimash is extremely happy because it is in his native languages, his beloved Kazakh )))

I cannot prove it but I am utterly convinced that this man is absolutely unique in human history. I know that half the reviewers on youtube want to characterize him as an alien, and the other half as an angel or demigod or the like. But he's a man, the likes of which cannot possibly ever have been seen on this planet before. His astounding range, His PERFECT control across that range, his ability to interact with the audience emotionally (also he's such a flirt!), Throw in is other talents. his humbleness, his joyfulness and general good nature,
I nearly talked myself into deifying him.
I'm just filled with joy that I lived long enough (I'm 70) to be in the same world with him and to enjoy his talent.

Dimash is a fan of Celine Dion and I hope they get together when he goes to the U.S. The song you were asking about is THE LOVE OF TIRED SWANS. Thank you for sharing. I was there too but was closer to the second stage where he did the Dombra number. I have just discovered you and your mom, especially mom because I could be your grandmother. :-) I have to go catch up on all your reactions. I have been watching Dimash since the third episode of Singer. I even joined a fan club or 2 USA and DKIFC. While I waited for the next episode of singer, I caught up on his singing before Singer. The younger he was the longer his hair was. (Just a tip, lol)
Hi Emi! Great video! I wish Dimash would come to Argentina. I am learning the lyrics of his songs to sing along with him. Argentinian audiences are worldwide known for being wild and very much connected with the artists they love, no matter if they are The Ramone's or Roxette; everybody would sing their lowns out and jump like maniacs!

He really isn't. After reading everywhere how tall he is I was kind if surprised how 'short' he is when I saw him for the first time. He stood an arm length away from me at the Dusseldof concert when he came off the stage to sing Love of Tired Swans. I also stood behind him in line at passport control at the airport. I'm 5'10" myself, and my guess he's 6'1"/6'2".
bijou Yeah I question his height too, but he is over 6 foot. There's a picture of him with andrea bocelli who is 6.1 1/2 or 6.2, and dimash is slightly taller about an inch

And yeah, I was there (St. Petersburg, Düssdldorf, on the plane from StP. to Düsseldorf and at passport contol) - I have video and pics to prove 😀
@@russm4391 yeah, D is probably just shy of 1.90 m. / 6'2. I just looked at a couple D. /Bocelli pics, depending on the angle of the picture they are either the same hight (if you leave D's high hair out of thre equation 😀) or D. slightly taller.

First song is called Golden. All his solo concerts are like this, pop, folk, opera, dancing, fun. He was so happy in this concert, smiling all the time, bless his heart he had the time of his life. He mainly wants to promote is culture, his music to the world, he always plays dombra, the two stringed Kazakh lute 💖 and he is 6ft 3in 🤪

@@clarebell4131 its because he is perfectly in proportion so he looks smaller on stage but really he is huge. Being slim usually makes you look taller but it seems to work the other way with him. He is just amazing and totally gorgeous ❤🔥❤🔥❤

Thank you so much. I could have done 4 hours as I enjoyed every second watching & listening to you & your mom. You had a strange angle because Dimash is 6 foot 3 inches. The one song that ended with a word sounding like lipity was The Love Of Tired Swans and the sing along song was a Kazakh folk song called Daididau. I so hope you will continue reacting to more Dimash songs and don't pay attention if there are still haters. Did you see his reworked self composed Give Me Your Love where he was playing and dancing with the woman in what looked like a white pant red top track suit? He wrote it as a tribute to his idol MJ. I see you still have on the necklace your boyfriend gave you & you even mentioned Titanic so PLEASE when you get a chance react to My Heart Will Go On from the Hainan International Film Festival 2018. @@kimberlypellegrino6414 His first version was with dancers from the Russian Ballet when he debuted the song in his sold out Moscow concert. In that one he stayed at the front & just danced by himself. He also did another similar song with dancers in Moscow called Lay Down, but I don't know if he did that one in New York. Wonderful to see & hear from you.
