Pinching The Queen Bee - Requeening Feels So Wrong

Even tho I've been beekeeping for 6 years or so, I'm still very much a novice when it comes to replacing queen bees. Yes I've replaced queens a couple of times, but not enough to REALLY know what I'm doing. Mostly I think my lack of confidence centers around being able to tell if the hive is ready to accept a new queen bee or not. In this case, the bees seemed ok when I was out at the hives, but when I was editing this video they seemed more upset than I thought they really were. So, either I was hot, dehydrated and not focusing on the reality of the bees attitudes towards the new queens, or... or, the video makes them look worse. I'm not sure which. If you are an experienced beekeeper, I would love to know what you think about the activity of the bees when I lay the queen cage on the top of the hives. Thank you.
