Unfortunately, I'll be the Director for my players first Draw Steel adventures. But fortunately (or hopefully), when someone else takes the reins from me, the beastheart will be published 🐺 🏹
Missed the James streams this week, so very happy to see this! I think the troubadour ability to build drama and dramatically return from the dead is so clever that I kind of expect it to become a trope of bard-like classes in other RPGs in the future. It makes a lot of sense that this came from Willy's brain!
Big Jimbo strikes again! Always enjoy when Mr. Intercaso shares his design work and shouts out the team members at MCDM. Out of the new classes Troubadour and Censor interest me the most. Being able to disrupt others on the Null sounds pretty friggin cool, but also having the ability to mark your targets and pursue/disrupt them also sounds like it’d be a blast. Troubadour reality warping with a shiny grin or mugging for the party also sounds like a hoot. Would really love to see the Beastheart represented in the core too. But I understand that’s a lot of play testing and a tough iterating feat to pull off a nature based class which won’t feel too familiar. Honestly the way this play test has leaned into specific aspects of the power fantasy and not just replicated some of the wider fantasy game assumptions about how a themed character should play is really awesome.
The Null! Super psyched! Glad to hear The Talent made the cut; the psychic layer really separates this game from many of the contenders within the fantasy ttrpg space.
@ I don’t mean to sound like I was poking fun or anything if that’s how it came across. I just wish you sleep well and hope you are not over worked, that’s all
Which of the new Draw Steel classes do you want to try out first? Let us know in the comments!

I underestimated how cool the Null could be, but now I'm hyped

Love 8/9 of these! Great work.
Hopefully they will get you to 9 out of 9 by the time it hits release!
Out of curiosity, which class don't you love?
@@markbridges2168 Troubadour is not for me
Me too lol lets keep the 4th wall where it is, please
TROUBADOR OH MY GOD
Can the Troubador hear when you say "Spider-Man" without the hyphen?
random thought Van Hellsing (played by hugh jackman) is a censor. (at least professionally)
I accidentally built my talent as a jedi, which was overall a lot of fun. Using my spirit sword I summoned and psychic pushing people.
Every time I see this guy I feel like he hasn’t gotten enough sleep
I just have naturally dark circles under my eyes. Been that way my whole life.
