I started later in life, at 26... on a pro-model camber GNU that was unforgiving as all hell and difficult to turn. After the brutal process of learning to ride it (genius that I am, not a single lesson), a few years later I wanted something more relaxing and surfy and loose. I got the 2015 Arbor Formula (rocker) and from the first moment I got on it it was a game-changer. Rides like a dream and allowed me to become a much better rider. It still performs amazingly and looks great after 6 seasons.
I’m a huge fan of Arbor snowboards. My family switched years ago. Was looking for great camber board with new tech, and the uprise fenders plus grip tech, plus the great natural wood designs was exactly what I was looking for. I have two boys and they have the Element and love it, and I have the Shiloh and love it. The upcoming models here won’t disappoint. Arbor is crushing it.
I bought the 2023 Arbor Crosscut Camber, 158cm. At the time I was considering the Shiloh and the Coda as well, but decided to go with a board that has a little more tip and a slight setback. It's been a lot of fun. Super stable and really digs in when carving a turn, Grip Tech works well, and is not grabby as I was worried it might be. I have used twin tip boards in the past that were softer, so I was worried the Crosscut would be too stiff but I was surprised that it isn't and really allows for some nice surfy feeling turns. I've taken it through a few stretches of powder and of course, it feels nice and floaty. On top of all this, it's a beautiful board, I'm a new fan of Arbor that's for sure.
I’m still rocking the round house from 2010, 13 years later and it still holds up to the test of time. A few dings and chips here and there but overall it’s my go to board when i’m teaching one of my friends who’s new to snowboarding. Cheers!
Didn't get a chance to try the Shiloh, but I rode both the Westmark camber, which was super fun, and Element rocker, which was really good but I suspect I'd prefer it in camber. Curious to know how the Shiloh might compare to their Westmark camber. I loved the Westmark, but am not a park rider. I'm more all mountain and a little free ride and wonder if the Shiloh would be similar but better suited to me than the Westmark.
Whoever puts stickers on the Wasteland should be immediately thrown in jail. No sponsors excuse allowed lol. God I love Bataleon graphics but Arbor makes the most beautiful boards.
I have seen two different wasteland 22/23 cosmetics in your videos, one with black tips and one with the black center, is there any difference between these two?, are both of them for the 22/23 season?

The Shiloh is just like a suped up Element. Little quicker all mountain ride. It’s to the Element what the Westmark is to the Draft

I rode a demo 159 Element Rocker a couple days ago and really liked it. Is there a big difference, feel wise, between the Element Rocker and Camber?
