Good morning Guys, Another enjoyable episode, I must admit Cooktown surprised me it’ is diverse and beautiful the heritage buildings looks very well looked after. What is the population of Cooktown and does Cooktown predominately rely on tourism or other things? Continued safe travels and thank you both for taking us along with you on your travels. Interesting weekend of NRL my Dragons up against John’s Sharks Hopefully it’s a good game the Sharks are playing very well but hopefully from my perspective the Dragons get a win we need to keep winning to stay in the top 8.🤞
@@DarrenKatsoolis hi Darren. I’m with you, Cooktown surprised me too. I found it hard to make this video because it was beautiful but mostly we spent time looking at beautiful views. The information centre is actually a shop and while they were nice you didn’t really get any information about day to day life. I think population is just under 3,000. There were a lot of fish boats around. We met some people who were flying to the tip from Cooktown for the day, so I think tourism must be pretty big here. Although it was one of the quietest places we’ve encountered up here. The game will be interesting this weekend, good luck to your team. This weekend I’m streaming the national ice hockey finals. My team got through to the semifinals, just, last night. Thanks for the support. Cheers Sharyn
Thanks for the additional information on Cooktown Sharyn, the Sharks were way too good yesterday for my Dragons. John’s Sharks are playing very well at the right time of the year they are going to be tough to beat in the finals. I hope that your ice hockey team had a win. Continued safe travels😀
