    It’s the height of rudeness to keep an entire ship waiting for you. Get back on time, it’s not much to ask. 🇨🇦

      They were probably from Canada…….

      100% they were from the US. 🙄

      They don’t wait unless the delay is due to a cruise line sponsored excursion. The fact that they were allowed to board indicates that they did in fact make it on time.

      It is not rudeness, it is an art form; a level of skill and talent that only a few brave souls even attempt to achieve during their lifetime. Some say it is so rare that to witness it should be considered the highest of honors, like meeting a queen or even a king.

    We watched three people get left behind in St. Kitts last week; they came running up as the ship was pulling away.

    We were on board Oasis watching this from our balcony too! There were people coming back even later, the desk and all the fences were already moved inside the ship and even the gate to the pier was closed. One lady was let through the smaller gate on the left and she still got onboard.😅

      @jhermikosi- I’m curious, how much time is there from when they let you off the boat til it’s time to leave?

    I've been on too many cruises where this happens. OF course, on those same crusies there are those who miss the ship too.

    Other than severe injury or your death, it is YOUR responsibility to be on board WELL BEFORE well sailing time!
    The ship should leave at the scheduled and posted departure time!
    Your not on board, too bad~

    I don't believe the ship needs to sound the horn but once. After that you are on you're own. You know you board and leave time. If you get left it is on you and I have no mercy but to laugh at you standing on the dock. One time having to make the next port or get home will teach a valuable lesson. God forbid you don't have your passport on you. That will make it doubly expensive and time costly. All on you and I don't care. I'll be the one pointing and laughing on deck.

    It’s funny to watch this video because I did not have to run. Experience cruiser would’ve noticed that the Mooring lines we’re still attached and take a while for someone to show up and remove them so they had plenty of time.

    • @annetteeve4637
      @annetteeve4637 Рік тому +3

      Not necessarily. I've seen the mooring lines still attached and they pack away the railings and close the door with people getting out of a taxi. They were 40 minutes late though.

      They do pull the gangway and close the hatch before taking in the mooring lines.
