This is an amazing channel and resource. The charge light in my 2015 Sorento LX illuminates during heavy downpours. I know the belt is good, since my dealer replaced it recently, but I'm not so sure about the tensioner or alternator. I'll be testing the alternator within the next couple of days; if it passes, I'll order a new tensioner and install it myself. My car has 209K. It may be time to replace the tensioner

Thank you, this was very detailed and gave me the confidence to perform the tensioner and belt replacement myself.
