Great job! I love when a customer lets you work without telling you how to do your job.👍🏻
Lot of tow drivers are idiots . And will pull from axle or soft places that fuck up your car. I always try to be present and instruct the driver where to hook. If he gives me an attitude. I tell him leave !!! My car !! I gotta pay for repairs !!
We all make mistakes sometimes. This was deeper than it looked from what I can see and the guy tried to avoid damage to the truck and driveway. Let’s just be kind and enjoy the videos instead of bashing each other.
Exactly ❤
I can be understanding however I do think the guy who owns the estate should add to the driveway like add markers so he doesn't do it again
there is absolutely no reason for a tow truck to be called for that, i would have had my truck back on the road in 5 minutes. its not that difficult and it should be common sense to know how to get yourself out of a situation like that but unfortunately common sense ain't that common nowadays
@adamhughes4001 i have to remind myself that what I consider common sense is typically experience from previous lessons learned, and not everyone has the same experiences. I would have done pretty much the same as Dustin and then put the truck in 4 Low and backed it out.
Great job, Dustin. You're get it done attitude show's small job or big, you will complete it. It was nice that the customer rewarded you at the end.
This is what sets Dustin in an category, he has COMMON SENSE which in our society of idiots is most real
How is this guy driving this truck and doesn't know how to get out of this scenario, let alone how to park on a driveway?
@@croman191it's 5 am don't sit here and tell me you're at your best at that time. Most people are in auto mode at that time
@treychatman6996 did he come out and the truck was magically moved from the day before when he parked the truck?
Man Card revoked for that driver
No shit. A F250 4x4 and he couldn't back it up on the concrete himself.
@@___roglo___6016I hate responding to calls like this. This and changing a grown mans tire when he has the tools to do so, but refuses to change it himself.
😅😅
@@msj7787sounds like you need a new career then 😂😂😂
@@Leotheconstructionguy 😂🤷🏾♂️
A little skill and ingenuity goes a long way. Thanks Dustin. Always love watching your videos. 💪💪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇨🇱🇨🇱🙏✝️
For anyone wondering why the owner couldn't drive the truck outta that himself, @1:36 shows that the control arm would've scraped on the concrete and caused damage to both it and the driveway.
I did towing & recovery for ten years, and that was the most satisfying job that I had ! I miss it and all the appreciative customers!!
My inspiration for these tow vids keep up the good work man.
Come on guys it's 5 in the morning you know his brain was sleep cut him some slack.
he called a tow truck for That...!? oh my word !
Super professional with your customer, Dustin. Lots of respect to you.
Thank You!
This is the owners first truck ever! And his first rodeo.that truck has the power and features to self rescue itself.
No, he made the right choice. Trying to drive that out could have caused some serious damage to the truck and driveway.
Why not just turn the wheel and put it in reverse?
the tow driver trying to make money, do it the hard way! Make money. 😮😅😊
Probably would rip the front end out of alignment
There would be no video if they did that 😂
Definitely could have gone forward 2 feet and put the passenger front wheel on the ground next to the driveway while the others stayed on the driveway and then drove it back onto his driveway where the ground is adjacent to it. Way too much effort wasted here.
@@sciencemansandera nah
Imagine having a big fancy truck like that with big offroad tires and you get stuck and need to be recovered on your own driveway.
my truck isnt lifted with big tires, but had the same thing happen a few months ago
its a rent house. without the proper tools, he was have done quite a bit of damage trying to get out himself.
It’s a ford that’s why ,them big hollow axle arm sucks lol
That's a yuppy not a real truck driver lmao
@@Towtruck_Dustin I just said "imagine" as in it was a hypothetical question
All of that lifted truck and it still gets stuck!
Yeah because its big and heavy, easier to get stuck in a lot of situations
That truck isn't "lifted" that's stock height.
Thanks Dustin! I'm sure that guy was embarrassed.
Smart man using his brain and knowledge to make a situation with a great outcome.Good looking out. This is a smart move and a very good video. This will help others 👍🏽
This can't be real 😂
That guy better ride a bicycle 😂😂
Some good Texan ingenuity right there 👍🏼 tell him if he can't drive that big truck I'll take it and drive it! 😊
Wow, This Guy Made This Complicated N His A Tow Truck Drive.
Yes, I may have driven a few trucks. If one can't lock it in 4wd, and crawl out of there, in a truck like that, it's time to sell the Powerstroke Diesel to someone who can use it, and get a 1974 Ford Pinto. WTF is our country coming to?
Pretty bad when america has wekt to calling a tow truck for something like this.. back in the 60s and 70s kids a15 and 16 were building there first muscle car motors.. andnthe big 4x4s of the 70s would have just scraped the concrete with the real steel frames.. oh what was that did i hit something? Oh well
I would of turned the wheel 4x4 on n send it!!! I have done the same thing off my brother's driveway.
Would add extra line charge: man card revocation fee.
I can't believe he didn't have the means to do that himself
Dude with those Bobby tires it’s a truck back it off lol
Omg the truck has 4WD 😂😤🤦🏼♂️
Did he try hitting it with his purse👜 before he called for help?
Look at the edge of that concrete. Total black rub mark on edge, these ppl can’t frickin drive.
Your skills and enginuity prevail again.
I have a long wheel base on my truck, he needs to see me on how to drive!!!
Ok, this owner dufus should not be allowed to own a truck like that if he had to call for a tow truck for that! 😂
What difference does it make that he drives this truck? The same thing could have happened with a car.
That guy seems to be a class act. 👏 Well done.
The fix for this dilemma was remove & replace operator.
I am trying to understand what the reasoning was to call the tow truck? That truck couldn't get itself out of that tiny hole by its own power? Why have a truck with all that sh*t on there for off-road if it can't get off a pothole? YOUR MAN CARD HAS BEEN REVOKED! EVERY TIME YOU GET IN THAT TRUCK, PUT ON A DRESS!
Could've just drove forward scrapped the concrete with the control arm. Control arm would have been fine. Truck would have lifted up as it got past the drain and reached level grass. How embarrassing
It’s a rental property. He’d have been liable for the damage. Why do all that when you can just avoid it all.
Well.. guess I’m not buying an F-250 if that’s all it takes lol
I’m not even gonna watch it all I’m gonna say is it was four-wheel-drive all he had to do was put it in he had three wheels on the pavement and done wow some people don’t need to have pick up trucks 😂 I used to drive a tow truck I get it money is money but sometimes the tow bill is more than what the tire would’ve cost
When you are high centered like that, he did the right thing 100%. He could locked the rear diff, but at the cost of tearing the tie rod off.
I love what you are doing mat
He didnt need a tow truck ,jus turn the wheel to tuch the pavement them 4wheel drive an move
That could have worked, but likely at the expense of a tire and the driveway of the rental property.
He made the right choice.
What happened to the 4WD function?
Drives a f250 but called a tow truck for that??? 😂😂
Too much $ and not enough sense 😂
That makes sense seeing as they picked a Ford
Oh he found one of my relatives ''a ditch''.
😂
Skill! Awesome job, brother!
Dustin i saw in news GM is taking action with the fuel pump issues. My son in law just got a new GMC 250 i told him about the issue, should it leave him stranded. Boy it was a pretty metallic midnight blue, just like ur video today!
When you buy a truck but you dont drive it like a truck, you call a tow truck.😂 it has three wheels on concrete. You just need two, and it can pull you out.
I guess you missed the part where you can see the black marks where he tried to drive it out.
@Towtruck_Dustin you did listen that he said it's a 4X4, right? If the rear wheel is spinning , you can still pull it out with some weight in the rear or something under the wheel.
The owner of this truck is a pavement princess haha 😂 He doesn’t even know how to drive his own truck.
WTH... all that. Bruh, really you could've did that in 30 seconds by turning the wheel right and back up or went forward. Tell that guy to sell that truck and buy a prius....😂😂😂
That would have been risking a lot of damage to the truck and driveway. He made the right choice calling for help.
Nah, his right choice, would've been doing exactly what you did, by himself, LOL. Unless that's his mistress' house, he should have a jack there. @@Towtruck_Dustin
Some guys don't see problems just challenges. Channel host in the club for sure.
Great recovery, Dustin! 😊
Good job Dustin! It's good you're smart and you know what you're doing... a true professional! have a great day sir.
hope he knows which valves to open and close by the time he gets to work. perfect title.
Great job Dustin.
Why doesn't the F-250 Driver just drive forward?
I’ve pulled many of fords stuck with my 98 Silverado. Rusted bed removed and replaced with a wood flatbed.
Noticed one those switcheroos other day - looks both badass & almost every bit functional.,
Built Ford tough lol
Good thinking and very patient man. Buen trabajo y un hombre muy paciente.
I got our truck 😊 on a leaking sinkhole on the edge of our curb. Right front tire. Oh boy, trying to get that thing out of there was heck. Imagine that scenario right there, all full of rushing muddy water. That was us.
that is something that would happen to me.
Time to turn in your driver's license, maybe?
@@hpruijs why cost me $5 in 1935 never need to renew
Awesome concrete pour as well.. lived up to the claimed 5000psi 😂
BRAVO👏🏽 SUPERWARRIOR 💪🤺KING👑 TO THE RESCUE❤🎉👐
A Problem-solving Ace!
Good job, Dustin. It's worth keeping a hand jack and blocks in the box. Never know you might need it .
Big house, big truck, small driveway. Check
Lol, time to trade that truck in for a compact EV 😂
What difference does it make the he has this truck? The same thing could have happened with a damn car.
I'm literally embarrassed for the both of them 🤦
Nicely done Dustin
Thank You!
The black marks on the edge of the concrete show this has happened before, just further down. Putting up reflectors would be a cheap fix, wider drive or a lip on the edge would be better. Great job, he's blessed he got you instead of a bonehead that just started dragging and destroying. Safe travels and GOD bless...... MOVE OVER! Save a Tow truck driver's life.
Good morning!
Jesus, turn wheel to the right until tire makes contact with the concrete, 4 wheel drive in reverse while continuing to hold pressure on the steering wheel to the right. Would have literally walked right out without any damage or all the unnecessary bullshit! Both owner and tow operators man cards need REVOKED!
This guy needs a PRIUS. Nobody knows what he's doing in a truck.
Looks cool tho (and the fancy shack too.) Credit still for the helpout after.
Accidents happen. This could have happened to anyone, driving anything.
@@Towtruck_DustinRight!
How do you like that Harbour Freight racing jack? Do you find it strong enough to lift most vehicles? Thanks.
That guy should look into a prius or maybe one of those honda minivan truck things instead. That would probably be best for them.
Dude could have done the same thing with a car.
The owner couldn't figure this out on his own? Good grief! Revoke his "man card"!
This guy should not have a truck. Trun the wheel hard right reverse and 4wheel drive.
Literally nothing is touching that would get damaged. Turn the wheel hard right and back up it will immediately roll up onto the tire. Maybe 2inch scratch in driveway.
You are hers, my friend 👍
Well I think whoever built that driveway should’ve been fired what kind of idiot puts a drainage pipe that far into the driveway. It’s the same stuff I see all the time doing restoration work for insurance and that’s dumb builders or contractors. Maybe it’s lazy idk. But idk about other states but here in Georgia contractors hide there trash underneath staircases, crawlspace and other wall cavities. It’s as if they can’t seem to pick up after themselves. Also all the corners cut.
I’m pretty sure the drainage channel determined where that pipe went. It should have extended at least a foot past the drive way.
Dustin you can jack my car any time that was awesome job 😊
Solid axles don't have control arms though
Most expensive game of "Jenga" ever!! 🤣. 😉. 🙃
Your video made it on a news article
Awesome job, Dustin .
Why by a big truck like that you can't handle
Who said he can’t handle it? He made a simple mistake anyone could have made. It’s dark, early in the morning, in an unfamiliar place.
"Dustin's Driveway Recovery"
No more stock than it is you should have been able to drive up there but then again it is a Ford
المفروض يكون في حديد حماية مع انارة 😮
Nice video!
Called a tow truck for that? Big truck little balls
Girl calls a tow truck cause she doesn't know how 4by works.
Fixed the title for you
is this a joke?
That owner should bot be allowed to own any truck. If he couldn't get out of that, he should stick to UBER.
An Uber driver in a car could have done the same thing.
There is so many keyboard warriors in this chat lol. it was cheaper to have that tow truck come, then it would have been to fix the concrete. yes this could have been done without a tow truck if the man had the correct stuff but god damn this stock truck with AT tires wasnt going to get its self out with damaging somthing yall need to zip it
😂
Right. These keyboard warriors are the same guys who buy a truck to compensate and make them feel manly.
Shit 4wd low range, either drive it back or go back forward, I would of gone forward with the diffs locked turn wheel to the left it would of gone shit we live in the mountains we call a tow truck for this we would have to move from the area
Awesome strategy Dustin. Enjoyed the content. Almost at 83k sub❤
Wtf, put it in reverse and get urself out.
He doesn't deserve to have a 4x4 truck. I like these rindston cowboys that want a big truck and know nothing about driving them.
He really called a tow for that🤦
The frame was on the pavement. It would have broken the pavement and the trucks ball joints.
One clear winner and two losers here.
Winner- Tow Truck Dude
Losers-Whoever designed and laid that terrible driveway & secondly that weak Ford owner.
