- OH MY GOSH where to start? i guess i know where this storyline is going and we'll have a couple of happy eps before a disaster. YAY family breakfasts, warm caring moments. Right now we're blessed to watch their beautiful connection growing , the level of trust is mindblowing. Quinn is so vulnerable right now, i wanna cry each time i think about it.
This ep killed me, the scene was so emotional and this single tear on the cheek :( oh and i screamed when i saw the last sec of the credits, how am i gonna survive this scene? it's 6x03, right?
as you see i can't deal with my emotions that's why this descriprion is a complete mess lol. So watch my vid instead :) - Розваги
his story is most tragic in the whole series.. even brody's last days were easier
Almost every single scene in season 6 was painful to watch... completely heartbreaking. Rupert played the character so we'll that you end up feeling like Quinn is a real person...And after all you feel like you're watching someone close to you hurt. I felt his pain and wanted to cry every time I saw him cry. The worst part was the scenes when you could see the "old Quinn" struggling to come to surface but what you end up seeing is shell, a ghost of what Peter was. He is still him but at the same part he has lost touch with the real world. The situations and the people around him tore him apart...

love all your videos. this is my new favorite. relationship between quinn and carrie is epic. great great stuff...it not only saved Homeland as a great show...it made it even better. their chemistry is off the charts. brilliant storyline and acting. 2 powerhouse performances. i can't get enough of them!
I just started watching HL a few weeks ago during one of the marathons and I was hooked. I just finished season 6 and am utterly devastated. I've NEVER felt this strongly about a fictional character - EVER. It's actually frightening how much I love Peter Quinn. They wrote a beautiful, deep, multi-dimensional character and then f***ing destroy him. I was sobbing like I'd lost a family member long before he died. I've been crying my eyes out since the horrors of season 5 and what they put him through. It's a damn shame. I was totally unprepared for this. No more HL for me. F**ck them (the writers, producers, etc.). Irina, thank you for the beautiful videos that let me hold onto him (and sob) a little longer.

amazing video! These two have been through so much together. That last scene in 6x02 between them broke my heart. "Why?" well we all know why but even though Carrie can't say the words, I feel like Quinn now knows that Carrie loves him.

Confess what? Carrie doesn't love Quinn. These two may end up together but for it to be credible, the producers better show some kind of development on Carrie's parts because so far nothing she does in regards to Quinn shows that she loves him. I see no love, nada. If anything, she only shows pity.
It's obvious Carrie loves Quinn, but she doesn't seem _romantically_ in love with him.

I think the writer made a big mistake killing Quinn off like that. I was devastated. I had been waiting for Carrie to realize Quinn’s love for her and actually her love for him. Quinn’s role was very powerful and he made himself enormously attractive to the empathetic side of most women. And most important, Quinn and Carrie were perfect together. The program stopped being quite so interesting after Quinn left.😭
I agree,they ruined everything, after season 6 doesn't matter any more what was next, the saddest thing was they destroyed that a beautiful friendship between quinn and carrie....

I wonder though - when he inevitably finds out he was woken from his coma by Carrie and Saul, will his remaining feelings for Carrie fade? maybe he will become the 'bad guy'...although this plot line may be too similar to Brody
Laura Effy I never considered him going rouge but I guess they are kind of teasing us with that. Especially since he attacks someone with an ashtray in the preview. But honestly if he can still love her after Brody and after the afghan boy and the brain damage I don't think anything will change his mind.
dakota diesel I think you are right, I don't think Quinn could ever truly go over to the dark side. I want a great love story - I just often feel as though Carrie isn't always worthy of him.

So emotional, This EP got me broken almost like 5.12 did, though thos one was hopeful. But this realisation of how depressed, hollow and lonely Quinn is broke my heart in many peaces. So, you've captured the mood, the nuances so good. Thank You!

There are so many interesting parallels between Quinn and Brody. I think that Carrie felt relieved that Quinn was able to be saved after being tortured and near death. With Brody, she had no control whatsoever and watched him helplessly die. Even with Quinn in season 6 being helpless you can tell he wanted to die and wasn't happy. Same goes with Brody when he goes into hiding season 3 and uses drugs to cope. I also believe Quinn loved Carrie more than Brody and Carrie took that to advantage sort of. She had the potential to love him back under different circumstances. Season 6 shows that it could never be the case because Quinn was far gone in mind and she in a way helped with that. So bittersweet. Wish they got together but the writers I guess didn't want what the fans wanted.
Also watching season 7 opening with "But you saved me...why?" gets me all worked up sometimes. This was a great video
Sadly, I think she saved him in part because it was her job not because she actually has a pulse. I think that is why she broke down at his question of, why? She was mortified with her own selfishness and sorry for what it lead to. If she really cared for him substantially she would have at least slept one night in the hospital by his side but she couldnt wait to get out basically. I dont get why she wasnt warmer to him in his rehab period or when he was her tenant. She should know more than any1 how much compassion is needed for some1 mentally suffering. I am gonna say that yes, she cares for him but we all know she is 10% real life emotion and 90% work. Rewatching the whole series at the moment..

War Crimes its hard for me too i liked the way they embraced each other they used each other... it's such a volatile feeling they had and we the audience felt that too, but quinn is like the second plate... i like him not LOOVE him for carrie .
@IrinaRusinova Carrie moved on, but not with Quinn. In season 5, she hardly thought of Quinn who was injured and possibly dead for all she knew, yet during her quiet time whilst driving, she was thinking of Jonas instead! That doesn't tell me she's anywhere in love with Quinn.

It's so sad that the video of quinn's gassing was on youtube. While I understand that the video was a good educational resource for people who wanted to know about the effects of nerve agents, and also spread awareness about the symptoms of nerve gas poisoning, was it worth compromising quinn's privacy and dignity? Not to mention, the video immortalised quinn as the man who was traumatised by terrorists.
