Why the feather?
Its a visual attractor for any critter passing by. We also use a little skunk lure on the top of the post as well.
@@feenerproductions kind of what I figured but wanted to be sure .... I'll sometimes use a turkey feather on a string as a visual when I am calling coyotes ... keeps their eyes on something other than me.
