I believe that sensation lasted only for few minutes .

Thank you for sharing this. I'm no stranger to chiropractic treatments but have been unable to go due to UK lockdown. Thank you so much! I will 100% use your recommended strech from now on and you just gained yourself a follower! Fantastic!

You are imbalanced, & the question is, is it by injury or prodominance choice? Stand before a wall, make sure your bite is even, place your tongue forward between your your middle teeth, then bite. Stand before a wall (toes pointing to the wall). Then raise yourself up 5 times, come down to your heels then back up. This should even your body a& shoulders now try the neck stretches.

im glad you mentioned that risk. when we generally crack our necks, we usually only hit 1-2 spots instead of the whole shabang..thus creating more issues down the road very shortly. quick relief but it is overall not good doing it on your own

When I was in 6th grade getting ready for school in the morning, I cracked my neck as usual, and then it got STUCK THERE. I couldn't rotate my head back. I started crying and didn't go to school that day. Took a few days to have full range of motion in my neck again.

Thank you Dr. Rowe for this video! Last year I started working out on the heavy bag/punching bag to lose weight and get in better shape. It is definitely brutal on my whole body (especially being in my mid 40s) but more so on my neck area. This neck stretch technique you start to demonstrate at about the 4:25 mark works amazing and has been a game changer for me! I use it before and after my workout and it helps tremendously! I no longer have the neck pain/soreness like I use to before finding your video!

I can crack the left side of my neck very easily with just tilting my head towards my right ear, but I'm feeling the tension on my right side, it doesn't pop at all like the left side, but the 2nd stretch you showed ke does help with stretching it out and giving that range of motion to be able to tilt more to the left. Thanks

    OMG THANK YOU VERY MUCH
this gave me some amount of relief
I have been having nechaches for the past 7 years and all the doctors told that I have stiff muscles and need to do exercises
Recently the pain started to get worse and it started paining around my collarbone and neck region and the shoulder neck region on the right and left....the collarbone-neck pain was the worst one
These exercise helped me in the shoulder-neck region(the region btwn the shoulder and the neck) pain but the collarbone-neck region (the region right above the collarbone) does not seem to go away..
Any tips on that would be really helpful as I am having a hard time concentrating on my studies
BTW THANK YOU VERY MUCH...THIS HELPED ME A LOT WITH THE SHOULDER-NECK REGION PAIN

Hello Dr. Rowe. Thank you for the video. However, I have a question though. When I tried the second method, I tilted my head to the right and felt a blockage on the left side of my neck, which prevented to really stretch out and there was a slight, small pain too on the left side of my neck. But when I tilted my head to the left, there was no blockage. What seems to be the cause of this problem?

Yep, I've had constant pain in the right side of my neck and shoulder for over 20 years. Most days, I can't turn my head to the right. And that neck crack has been the only way to alleviate the tightness. The risk of stroke scares me. I copied it from a chiropractor thinking if he can do it, so can I.

I haven't been able tp get a release like I once could even the few chiropractors I seen haven't been able to do it with out saying thats as far as I'm willing to try. The last time I got it to release was after I wemt for a deep tissue massage and it did it during the night while I was sleeping, scared my wife cause she thought I broke my neck from the sound. Hope to get back to a good deep tissue person. And that was about January

I've been cracking my neck for years now due to issues I have with it and I do it the way you say not too. Is there a chance I've caused myself to possibly having a stroke even if I quit doing it the wrong way?

Dr. Is this safe to do with cervical instability on C1 C2 and C3? All the exercises i have been given have made symptoms worse. Gentle cracking doesn't make me feel any better, but it releases tension, plus my neck cracks on its own all the time just with movement. Hot and cold therapy is the only therapy that works for the pain, plus not moving my neck beyond a very slim range.

Thanks for sharing! As for the thoracic/cervical junction -- the second stretch (in this video) is one of the best for that. You can also try this for the upper back: ua-cam.com/video/M-czKZHAH4c/v-deo.html
