she's actually related to Guy (final fight, street fighter) the names of the techniques and the movements are from the bushin-ryu
Ibuki was actually based off of Linn's design, and they used Linn's sprite as a base for Street Fighter 3 I believe.
So this is where Ibuki went after college in Street Fighter 3: *Fighting Aliens!* 😅

I was so disappointed when they didn't use this as the plot for the AvP movie.
Nossa esta persinagem é poderosa! Mais poderosa e rápida até mesmo que os dois predadores deste jogo. Os golpes dela são fortes e retiram bastante energia dos inimigos. Ela tem varias sequências quando golpeia. Aquele golpe de crava vindo do alto e jogando longe logo após os inimigos retira bastante energia. O raio de energia espalhado é muito eficaz que o laser dos predadores. Ela tem 2 golpes se subida dando golpes ao alto um com o chute e o outro do a faca girando para todos os lados. Tem tb o raio de energia saio das mãos igual ao Kamen Hamen Ha. Na verdade na minha época em que o jogo era febre,o melhor personagem era o predador guerreiro e depois o predador caçador embora mais lento e com a lança de foice,retirava mais energia dos inimigos. A mulher era a mais fraca pois na época não sabiam todos os golpes dela e quão boa ela é segundo o amigo jogou excelentemente!

Excellent play as usual, but I think you missed her golden combo: slide, dashing katana strike, Sou Kei Ha.

The Alien Queen always had high heels. That was HR Giger's thing. Blending female private parts and bondage into the Xenomorph's anatomy.

I was a tas bot with the hunter-predator. 50c would last me the whole game. The trick was to throw away the power move in the combo. To keep the bad guys stun-locked. As an added bonus you would kick away anyone sneaking up on you.
Fun Fact: Tobonobu Itagaki worked on this game and he can never resist incorporating his high heel fetish into everything he works on.
The first movie would have been over in like 10 seconds if Linn was on the Nostromo's crew.

Dispite having the weakest power rating, her multiple air throw ability is killer, also looks awesome. How I wish Capcom would bring this game to their classic collection, one of my all time fav games.
Quem diria que logo após o jogo de arcade dez anos depois a Fox faria um filme do gênero com os dois personagens alienígenas de terror: Aliens vs Predador (2004).
Era pro filme sair na época do jogo, mas foi cancelado. Interessante que o filme de 2004 tem um roteiro diferente do planejado em 1994, então o jogo é basicamente o que restou do roteiro original.

And I'm sure Lin's sword is made of Cortosis weave. Resistant to lightsaber sparring damage, and Xenomorph acid-blood.
Actually, if the sword is sharp enough, most liquids won't adhere directly on contact. Plus with the futuristic nature of the game (see Arnie's Schaffer decked out in an exo-suit that would give the Heavy from TF2 wet dreams), you get the same effect if you coat the blade with a sort of Teflon.
It did get a home release on SNES. It was nowhere near as good.

She was the most difficult character to use. Her standing attack is absolutely terrible, which makes her terrible in crowd control, which makes her difficult in solo campaign. Yeah yeah, I'm sure there are plenty of people who can wreck this game with her, but I'm specifically talking about average joe.

Infelizmente não adaptaram para consoles. Tenho quase que certeza que a Capcom não teve muito interesse devido a baixa venda e consequentemente o pouco lucro que ela teria. Por isso só teve mesmo para arcade.
@@cristianosiqueira9838 O problema não era exatamente o Lucro e sim relicenciar as franquias (que na epoca tinha um problema adicional da licença do AvP por conta de uma disputa legal para o possivel filme

Amazing that the early draft script got turn into an arcade game and did really well. The movie scrapped the idea, have to wait years later and wasn't great.
Wouldn’t the predators be trying to hunt the humans, especially armed humans, instead of working with them? Also fighting a xenomorph hand to hand from time to time, did they even see any of the Alien movies before making this game? I know this is nitpicking, but when you know the lore, or seen the movies of either series, nothing in this game makes sense.
This would be better as survival horror game, not a beat them up.
@@whitewolf3051 actually no. this is the era of "beat em up" and go straight to arcade, where you and bunch of your friends "waste" your time and money there. so survival horror genre (res.evil, silent hill, alone in the dark) isn't pretty good strategy.

No, it's not in any compilation, because licensed games are always extremely complicated to re-release because of the rights issues owned by the creators of the license who don't want game publishers to make money from licenses that don't belong to them, unfortunately.
