The Dopamine Rush (a.k.a. 23) is the eighth track on Eric Leeds’ first album Times Squared (on the CD release, seventh track on other formats). Around the time of the album’s release, The Dopamine Rush was available as the album’s first promotional release in the USA (with no commercial release). The track is made up of portions of 21-24 (The Dopamine Rush Suite), an instrumental track recorded during sessions for Madhouse’s third album 24. The suite is made up of four pieces (21 (The Dopamine Rush), 22 (Amsterdam), 23 (Spanish Eros) and 24 (Orgasm)), but was intended as one continuous track. The original suite contains spoken parts in French by actress Mathilda May (on 21 (The Dopamine Rush)), in Dutch by model Anna Garcia (on 22 (Amsterdam)) and in Swedish and English, likely by engineer Heidi Hanschu (on 24 (Orgasm)). The last piece also includes various moans by Vanity lifted from the unreleased Vanity 6’ song Vibrator (also previously sampled on Seven and later on the similarly-titled Orgasm). The salsa-flavoured 23 (Spanish Eros) samples Apollonia speaking in Spanish lifted from Apollonia 6’s In A Spanish Villa. Only Mathilda May’s vocals were kept for the released version. great trx! iv heard 3 versions of this song so far; my prince version is similar to this one. yours seems to have a few extras on it. mine is seriously edited as it only sits under the 3 min mark. eric leeds and now this one. i heard there is a full 18+ min Prince version floating around. What really sucks, is a cool song like this, in its fullness, would more than likely not see an official release. the audio quality on this is one is better too. thanks for sharing!!
i can hear elements from the song "weekend girl" by The S.O.S. Band at the end of the clarinet/sax parts but before the french...the first instance being roughly at 1:00 - 1:02
This is an Eric Leeds cut Leeds was a band member of Prince s and a member of princes protogen group the Family as well as solo work in the prince staple now maybe prince may have done this first possibly
@@ASMR-XI-ZUI Guess this is more proof she is a liar because this song was recorded years before he met her they did meet til 1990 she also calmed In Love was about her and he wrote that in 1977

That's not what I heard . What I heard thru the grapevine was that the moaning came from Kim basinger
what do you mean 'he moved on'? Mayte wasn't around during this recording. this was during the Lovesexy tour end.
