Early intervention, consistent and intensive efforts help in reduction.

Richa Jain Stop the source of repetitiveness, i.e. all screens /poems/ songs etc get his attention in every interaction, make him listen the verbal reply (getting attention ask him what is this? if he doesn’t reply, just repeat question and let him listen the word/ sentence), randomise his all activities. Manage his reactions (if any). You may get help from videos on Pre Learning Skills from the playlist.

Laxmi Nair A detailed data is required for knowing the function (reason) of this behaviour...When did it start? Disorder of child? Was there any change in environment? Level of functioning of child? Behaviours in routine? Sleeping hours in routine? Wake up timings?
Anyhow few tips are as following:
Rule out some medical condition at priority e.g. stomach pain, toothache etc.
Structure daily routine, involving physical activities.
If the child has repetitive behaviours, then pat to soothe for encouraging sleep again (if it is too early wake up)
      Avoid sleeping during day.

Neha Pathak Get his attention and ask him simple question at his level, if he replies correctly then appreciate him. If he doesn’t reply then again make him attentive to ask question and now make him listen the correct answer by uttering yourself. After some drills give delay in your utterance and give partial verbal prompt by speaking initial word/ sound of the answer.
In long run work on his Pre Learning Skills focussing attention, processing of instructions and randomisation.

If he is achieving all developmental milestones in time, then its okay to repeat rhymes. But if he has delay in any milestone then stop screens, randomize all activities and focus on Pre Learning Skills in play therapy.

She Fi I don’t know about her diagnosis...If she is on ASD, then focus more on attention, processing and randomisation. Further more class teacher can help her in establishing communication in that environment. She can involve her with other mates using her reinforcers. Good pairing of teacher or mates will also help her. You may call few of her mates at home on some meet-up/ event to remove the hesitation. Generalise her learnt language (at home) in all environments.
