- The Puerto Rico Trench is located on the boundary between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It is is 800 kilometres (497mi) long and has a maximum depth of (27,480 ft) or 5.20 miles. This makes it the deepest trench in the Caribbean and the Atlantic ocean.
The trench has been explored since 1960 by both government agencies and private explorers. The explorations have continued and scientists continue to unravel some its mysteries.

Our ancestors have been seeing lights under those waters forever. Lights, sounds, and craft.
loose the mcdonalds hat man...
Shhhhhhh Dont say it out loud. Here in Puerto Rico we see that stuff all the time, old timers here say it’s a portal to another part of the universe 🤷 but sometimes that portal throw something back to this planet.
Yess I approve that message
It's called bioluminescence. Many have seen it all over the world. There is even an example in this video @0:13 but it can take many forms.
I’ve been flying back & forth to PR for almost 40 years, been all over the island, El Yunque, etc. & I’ve never seen anything strange. Not saying it doesn’t happen, but it’s not as common as people will like to believe
This is an incredibly informative and interesting video! Thank you for sharing ! Gracias! ❤️🇵🇷 Looking forward to the next one!
So if you're born in Puerto Rico you really do come from the trenches. 😏
Nice one!!
Lol nice 😂
RAAAAH!!!!🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷😹😹😹
Yes, and we really know how to work hard, the trenches
😂😂😂❤
I always expect something interesting from you every Friday, and trust me, never disappoint, thank you for your effort and for teaching us something different.

Por eso hay mucho temblores, from Cabo Rojo. Thanks for the video.
The Island Enchanted every one Going for a Purpose and they be Enchanting. Love PR from the Enchanted.
Thank you for such an interesting short of my beautiful island. From Bayamon to love for all.
And to think that all the islands in the Caribbean are nothing but the tops of very ancient gigantic mountains that have been around for millions of years! Now they are almost totally covered by the sea.
My island has an underwater volcano, that perked up a few years ago. If it really wakes up...... TROUBLE.
The impact from that meteorite that wiped out the dinosaurs was tremendous. It must have move those tectonic plates to create that trench.
I love the little talking frog 🤣❤️🙏🏻
@Orchids.and.Endlers It's a coqui frog from the island of Puerto Rico.. They're small ranging from 1-2 inches..
You mean el coqui?? Only found on the island of Puerto Rico..yes it's special!!!!
That's coqui.
The national frog of Puerto Rico.❤
Isn't it extremely poisonous?
@@tatumergo3931hell no bro. Coqui is not an enemy nor poisonous
Fantastic! I learned something today 😊
Gracias, por publicar,, thanks for posting 🥰🥰
I learned something new 😁 thanks 😊
Do a video on all the UFO sightings people see coming from the sea in Puerto Rico.
... I had a close encounter of the second kind in El Yunque in 1998...the US NAVY was there...the have meetings off one of those Closed Roads with "US Government: No Trespassing"
He wont because he's reiterating what mainstream lieing hiding truth scientists say.....good luck.

Also, Puerto Rico's El Yunque mountain is the part that remains of a prehistoric volcano during the times of the dinosaurs. That part that still remains is extremely hard because it was cooked inside the volcano itself. Volcanic activity is known to form vast cave systems.. (Might it be that such a large cave system exists in El Yunque leading all the way into or near the Puerto Rico trench itself) 👽 🛸 🤔
Very interesting, thank you! In northern Puerto Rico, facing the trench to the north, about 20 miles from the island's coastline, there are two large escarpment formations, known as amphitheater scarps. It is what is left after huge undersea landslides occur. Whatever triggered those landmasses to break (time, fractures, faults, tremors, all of the above together?) must have caused a great upheaval on the surface, probably many tens of thousands or many milions of years ago. Who knows maybe even a huge tsunami. It is clearly observed in modern ocean floor maps of the area, and on Google Earth. One goes roughly from Arecibo to Dorado, and the smaller one from Carolina to Fajardo.
In Google Earth I used to see these weird formations that looked like something from the "Alien" movie. Not no more...they blurred it out....😳👹
Sinking of Atlantis. 🤔
Very interesting
Thank you, Isabela
Good information. I live in Puerto Rico and haven't hear about the negative pressure at the trench.
Awesome 👍
Thank you
I never knew this good to know I learned something new today
Very interesting.👍⭐️👍⭐️
My dad is mixed with a lot of Hispanic countries but he’s mostly native to Puerto Rico, Panamá, and Costa Rica. I’m just recently getting interested in where my ancestors came from and who they were. Your channel is very informative
New knowledge for me. 😊😊😊
Didn’t knew earthquakes happen in the Trench. Thanks for the info, Coqui Report.
I never knew this. Thanks!!! 🙏🏾 😊
Being a fourth generation Taino with a bit of spaniard i am proud to say i was born on the island of Puerto Rico annointed as La Isla del cordero .my people and the island are blessed. Que viva el taino ( los.buenos)across the Caribbean. There is much more than just being of Puerto Rican descent. Read, inform yourselves ,learn the facts!!!
@annarodriguez1581 what percentage of your DNA is Taino?
@@coquireport My grandmother on father side mestiza! Grandfather on mother side Taino.. DNA ? 1/4 pure blood. We Tainos are still alive and well. The percent of blood line according to natives in the Americas is 1/16 !! You can still identify Tainos by their bronze color and jet black straight hair. We have a dialect that has been intertwined with the Spaniard language!!! Check it out!!
Those waters around Puerto Rico is deep snd dangerous compared to the rest of the Caribbean sea, after all to the Northern North North East North, North East, East, East South East, East South East facing the Atlantic ocean really shows another depths of diversity beneath the surface and what the water encompasses entirely in that region is breath taking
Mr coqui I love you and puerto rico in english it means rich port..I was raised there born in nyc.have a huge family there .greatful for the content ✨️
Magnífico este video. La falla de Cariaco, al norte de costas venezolanas tiene 1.500 k., de profundidad y se dice que es un desierto submarino. 2 fallas pegaditas. Mis bendiciones a todos entre ambas trincheras.

This is one of the reasons why they call Puerto Rico the enchanted island it's mystery is unknown to many we know very little about it and my dad is from cayey Puerto Rico and he tells me about a story my grandfather told him about a earthquake that was so big that he had to hold onto a Palm tree because the island was shaking violently!!
@antoniobarerreto3960 Which Earthquake?
@@coquireport well my dad is 95 and his dad was the one who said about the earthquake so just go back about 125 years
@@antoniobarreto3960 Maybe the 1918 San Fermín earthquake
@@coquireport yeah he said that the ground was shaking so violently that his dad said it looked like the ground was boiling and he had to hug a Palm tree 🌴
Some say tartarus is here where titans are imprisoned...
Also Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 is home to Puerto Ricans thank you that is all
Wao,wii, its all I cudt said, yes sir,I went to the university ,today.
They put tsunami warning signs up on the south side of Puerto Rico I never seen that before until about 2015 and Puerto Rico indeed had a tsunami before,
The Puerto Rico Trench, the second deepest point on earth, has long been rumored to be the site of an underwater base for aliens. The number of sighting of fleets of objects coming into, and out of, its waters are legendary, dating back to the journeys of Columbus.
The Puerto Rico Trench is also one of the strangest points of gravity on earth, possessing strange magnetic, and gravitational anomalies, making it extremely difficult to explore because of its effect on our instruments.
Puerto Rico is also one of the points of the famed Bermuda Triangle, some of the strangest waters in the history of the seas.
Never, never underestimate the power of Nature, or her creative powers throughout the universe. H
The bad news is, 21st century man is pitifully young, and pitifully violent.
Mankind, as a species, simply doesn’t have a clue.
@Vejur9000 Interesting..
@@coquireport I updated my comment
I'm from and live in P.R and there are no deserts here.
@rafaelnazario1997 Puerto Rico does have a desert area know as a Bosque Seco de Guanica..Although not a desert in the traditional sense like the Sahara..It does count as a desert area..
🇵🇷👍🙏
Desert 🏜️? Yeah right

@rosahrod There is the dry forest of Guanica which falls under the category of desert Ma'am ua-cam.com/video/K2Hgl-hWSjM/v-deo.htmlsi=psyLWQ2Fc9hRm8m4
Very Cool. You could expand this easily, and are encouraged to do so. But get rid of that cutesy frog and give us a Puerto Rican face!
@Fly420 I'm keeping the Coqui frog...Its the national symbol of Puerto Rico...or didn't you know? Anyways thanks for the comment..
That little frog 🐸 is the island coqui! Is famous for the sound they make, specially during the night.
The trench is filled with chili peppers. That's where the lights come from.
If you throw a rock 🪨 with your wish attached to it down this trench, the wish will come true if the rock hits the bottom!
Rituals work because people believe it will work, that is the fundamentals of magic and how it works. You manifest it, the ritual is just to help you believe it.

“Cuántas son tus obras, oh, Jehová! Con sabiduría las has hecho todas. La tierra está llena de tus creaciones”
Atlantis is under the Bermuda Triangle as well as the Puerto Rican trench, hence the gravity anomalies and strange occurrences with navigation instruments.
I know... moon and deep cold water helps keep the hurricanes 🌀 traveling up into gulf once in the gulf, it heads up to push the Jetstream up to restock the glaciers at north pole keeping the earth's magnetic torrid shape stream line... sadly moons moving to far due to some not shutting off the KINGS CHAMBER!... which pushes moon every year to the point that this connection is lost...
Again AFTER THE 9TH OF AUGUST... doesn't matter before... just melt
I have seen other videos that depict ancient pre columbian maps that not only do they show Antartica’s land mass prior to the current icy conditions:it also shows Puerto Rico exactly where it’s at. In spite of being so close to the trench, Puerto Rico may be a small island above water level but,it has a wide supporting base.Puerto Rico is strong,Puneta !!!
Puneta si!!! Puerto Rico is very strong.
We, Puerto Ricans don't need a strong base to stand our ground on but, if needed, we build our own. We don't need to be independent government wise. We were born independent to begin with but,I like the way you think 💯🇵🇷
