- One of my friends has a 2012 Honda Civic and wanted to know how to change her windshield wiper blades. I have a 2011 Civic 4-door and needed to change my blades too, so I made this video. It's a very simple process that you can easily do yourself. You can buy the Rain-X wiper blades I use here for about $14 each at your local Wal-mart. Hope this helps!
Best windshield wiper repair video I have watched. Simple and to the point.
Very to the point and easy explanation. Probably saving lots of people from spending unnecessary $$ by having them purchased and installed by a dealership! The country accent doesn't hurt either ✌🏼️
Thanks so much for the video. I had purchased my replacement wipers (RainX Latitude) via an online order so I couldn't go to the auto store to have them assist me - or at least I would have felt weird to go to one since I didn't purchase them there. I'm a visual learner so even though the instructions were helpful ONCE I watched your video. Before watching your video the instructions just didn't make sense. All I knew was that I had a hook system on my 2001 Hyundai Elantra GT. The RainX wipers I bought had a universal fit for a variety of different wiper blade systems. Thanks a lot. Now I feel like I can build a house from the bottom up. :)
Most auto parts stores lately have become very helpful as well in an attempt to get and keep more business. Many of them will come out to your car to put on wiper blades for you (for free).
thanks for the video. I recognized the windshield and that's what drew me in.
Looks simple enough. Thanks for sharing Tony.
It is really helping to understand. Thanks Tony !!
Really glad this helped Rajib! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thank you. I will be changing my wiper blades tomorrow.
thank you so much for this video... very helpful, will be changing mines tomorrow.. wish me luck, I'm not good at fixing things 🤞🏽
Very clear instructions. Probably a good idea to keep the OEM wipers too. You can refill both for about $16 at the Honda dealer. Now would have a ready spare for a lower cost.
Rain-X makes so many versions so I guess that the Exact fit Beam is the way to go?
Agree, i learn the hard way and end up paying $65dls
Thank you very much, really well exlained and recorded.
Great video, thanks for being a good teacher
OEM works quite well and very simple to replace. Just two metal bars slide off and back on. easy said than done. $3.00 per refill vs $20.00 blades, I do like the rain X ones though
I don't live far from places where the word "fit" is two syllables, as demonstrated here. :) Jk man, great video. Thanks for the help!
Yay! my 6th video watched, finally learned how to do it!
Sometimes it's confusing for sure. Cool that this vid helped!
Easy! nicely explained..
Thanks sir Richard!
Do u have a video of all the other types of windshield wiper blades besides the J-hook
That’s is a very helpful video
Great tutorial! Thanks
Every single person showing how to change wiper blades needs to show more close up of when you're clipping and unclipping it in
So not all blades require the metal insert?
Dudette you can replace the rubber inserts. You don’t have to replace the whole blade.
Thank you!
Thanks
Thank you sir
thank you.
❤
Thanks sir
Connected easley
Great accent!
I went to Auto Z last week.. They want $39.99 EACH... Last time I bought them (4 years ago) they were $15 each. WHAT in tar-nation happened....?
Good question. I usually buy mine at Walmart. I wonder if the prices have gone up there as well. Thanks for the heads up.
Than k uthough
the mk3 megans had these wipers are tyey the same to fit probably a daft question but just wondering
U want to keep the or blades...u can just replace the rubber for half the cost every time instead of replacing the entire blade
Thank you!
Thank you!!
