I went to Japan's largest standing indoor Buddha statue at Kimiidera Temple in Wakayama.

In this video we tour the beautiful Kimiidera Temple, explore the history of the founder of this temple and some history of Senju Kannon, and see the the gilded wooden statue of Senju Kannon that is proclaimed to be the largest standing indoor statue in Japan (very specific title for sure but still impressive).

I’m a bit confused you kept on calling Kannon he, l thought she is a she.

Sorry for any confusion, probably just the way I generally speak. As far as my knowledge goes, which is limited even after making this video, Kannon has been depicted as both throughout history. Perhaps the concept of "she" is more prevalent, but from my research was mostly "he". But someone can correct me if this is not the case.
