Hello. My pastor made me feel extremely guilty because I had to work the past 4 sundays. He put it on the level of idolatry. Also it felt like a rebuke and it was in front of everyone. What should I do in this situation? This really made my wife want to never go back & find a different church. It’s like every time someone misses it’s a big problem.
Dear Brother, Why is it the Exoteric Christian world uses these bible verses in reference to a weekly 7th day or first day of each week gathering of people as a certain day of worship. After over 50 years of reading and diligently studying the Bible not once have I found a commandment in the new Covenant about a certain day to assemble for the purpose of offering Worship. As a convert at the age of 22 by the Church of Christ my goal has been to first and foremost Hear the voice of God and follow in the example of the Anointed Savior's steps as He walked the path of Faith. That process has led me to know every day is the LORDS Day as shown by the 8th Day Solemn Assemble that has a start but no end. Few know anything about the 8th day teachings in both the Old and New Covenant bible and because so fail to present them self a living Sacrifice Daily which is man's only reasonable Worship. If you are being led by the Spirit of Christ you are in the LORD'S DAY even as John was in Revelation 1:10 Day by Day. May I share a different Understanding of Hebrews 10: 19-25 with you? If a person does not have the Spirit of Divine Wisdom and Understanding, Counsel and Power, Knowledge and Divine Fear given by way of the Spirit of Holiness Worship can not take place any where nor at any time. To fulfill what Hebrews 10:25 is saying you must first and for most start Assemble with you'r Creator's = Elohim by Honoring them as the Most High Starting every Morning in the Secret Place of Holy communion where you Communicate Face to Face in Intimacy with the One's you Love Most. Psalm's Chapter 91 There in silence Ask them to be Filled with the Spirit of enlightenment so you Day's Walk in Faith will prosper and be filled with divine Love. The Phase as you see the Day approaching could better be understood with reading it = as you see the day dawning as it does each and ever day and in the silence of the Morning present yourself boldly before the throne of GOD because of Mercy and Grace as a Sacrifice to Find Grace in Time of need. Man is Blessed when Honoring there Father and Mother in the physical world; how much More our Creator's of Loving Divine Consciousness that Dwell's within the Soul. Just a few word's to give rise to greater blessing as we Grow in Intimate knowing starting with GOD first and then each other. AMEN
