@@bodz9408 i've learned to drift on FKN BEAMNG WITH A LOGITECH DRIVING FORCE GT WHEEL... then bought a t300rs gt, trust me bro if i learned drifting on beamng on a bad wheel, you can definitely learn on a good wheel and a good game.

I'll admit you're good, but the simulation depth combined with the lackluster force feedback it results in makes doing anything with a steering wheel less than impressive in the Forza Horizon series.
To anyone who hasn't tried it himself: you wouldn't know, but the FFB is hilariously bad in this game. It looks like the game has a lot of sim options, but really it's about as arcade as NFS -- and I'm not talking Shift. Drifting should not be this easy -- the in-game driver can't even turn the wheel more than 90 degrees, even if your wheel can turn 450 degrees in either direction. It really sucks as I bought FH5 having seen it had sim settings for steering assists. Ended up having to play it with a controller because it's actually significantly faster in this game.

Yeah man always 100% gain and 900 wheel rotation in tm panel. I just tweak the in game settings a little with each game.

the one i made does not drift at all. And i have no idea how you can drift with 900 rotation , it takes to long to register the input and car spins arround . more like 450% rotation and 25 sensitivity makes it somewhat possible

I use normal steering and 900 degree. Sim steering is "interesting" in horizon.

I tested on my steering wheel, both options, and it seems that Sim steering is better for weaker cars, and normal steering is better for stronger cars, like those in the formula drift. That makes sense?🙃
@@byluan_ yeah your right man I would say the same thing. Sim Steering is fun for cars with less than 350bhp and low speed (I've used it in a few older videos) When you build speed it's unrealistic to control, snaps like crazy. Why I use normal Steering most the time. Forza Motorsport sim Steering is really good, I have one fm7 video using a 300zx with sim steering. Tip for the formula drift cars, inflate the tyres to 55 max psi and they handle great with a wheel 👍

To be honest, this simulator looks so unrealistic. The car reaction and maneuvers are simply out of point. Not even close to real life drifting. Basically LFS remains the drift king in games!
My dream is to learn to drift like u damm man i smile each time
steering wheel or controller? if steering wheel you will learn small driftes in like a week. the most inportant thing you need to do is clutch kick with high rpms (start in 2 gear) then u learn to control the caar in the cornors. if you feel like thats hard, you do dounots then you should have learnt it in like 2 monts mabye more. (sorry for bad english not from england or usa)
