Informative tutorial! Not to knock anyone else, but I really appreciate how swung/ housey your stuff is, such a refreshing change from the usual tech/ambient that eurorack is known for!
Great idea and tutorial Alex! The Assimil8or is the best hardware sampler I've ever used and this just reaffirms that. I like your setup there. I have a lot of modular and I'm building a suitcase that will be about what the size you have there. I want to make it more concise and portable. You said that you are using the euroburo for EOC, what exactly are you doing with it?
Thanks for the comment and for watching! Glad it’s helpful. I’ll be releasing a video of my euro buro patch very soon, and will put it up on pitch storage for folks to DL and use. It’s a hi pass, lo pass, delay, reverb, and flanger for the master bus.
@@alx-106 You know if you have a free in/out CV on the euroburo you could also set up a input that turns triggers into inverse envelopes. Then you can plug that into whatever you want to side chain. I'm loving the assimil8or videos though. You have a fresh perspective.
@@guysmiley7289 that is a cool idea indeed! I’m using all of the inputs at the moment for a WMD 4tten to controller the patch but yeah, lots of ways to do it indeed.
@@alx-106 Alex, correct me if I am wrong but I've heard that WMD was doing the assembly for Rossum. I have been emailing their support for months and had no contact. I need a new OLED for my assimil8or, mine is burnt out. I looked at it from the side and the OLED is a simple ZIF connection. I could replace this on my own if I had the part. Do you have any contacts or help you could throw my way? I'd appreciate it! Thanks - Adam
@@guysmiley7289 WMD was, but is no longer involved. I needed support the other day and reached out to Rossum via their web form and it went well. I would try again. WMD’s form is being weird unfortunately, but further, is no longer involved. Cheers!
the pitch wihout artefact is unique (synhtesis wavetable is just an example) + 192khz , aliasing for emulate old sampleur dirty sound... the matrix is incedible but only a player no Fx , or VCF... it's a beast for advance synthesis not a so easy to make a good workflow with it ( no automted tmestretch)
oh here you are! hello!! good to see you! i'd completely forgotten time warp is also an envelope follower, thank you for mentioning that!
this is an awesome technique thanks !
Thanks for checking it out!
Really love this idea for creating an envelope! Thanks for sharing
Glad you dig it!

Heck yeah, thanks for checking it out, glad you dig!
Love these Assimi8or videos! Just slimmed my system down and am really looking forward to your videos for guidance. Thanks so much!
Nice one, Alex! Very useful! 😁👊
Thanks! 😃
Cool trick. I will try to implement this in my DROID patch.
Great tutorial dude! Gonna try it out tomorrow!
Thank you for watching! It’s a good lil hack.

I want an Assimilator!

What case is that???
It is the submodular systems case. 12 version with the divider. Check it out!
