Wudijo, you need to direct questions to specific people. If you leave it open ended nobody is going to talk because they are socially awkward. Except Macro, he will actually talk.
This! It is so awkward to listen to, just went through 50% while driving and I've looked at my screen like 150 times to see if the stream got stuck
Yeah, this happens because it's online, people don't see each other's body language in real time, so everyone is extra careful, moderating the conversation move feel awkward initially, but it reduces the mental load of the guests and allows them to focus on their answers more
Even a quick edit through a silence remover would likely take out at least ten minutes of dead air and make the podcast flow far better. You're not going to get socially awkward people to magically get vocal, even if you're questioning them directly. These tools have been available for a long time and they're easy enough to use.
I love that the game has become fundamentally good enough to just geek out on the smaller things
To be fair I wouldn't ever say it was "bad," but only felt unfinished. It took 2-3 seasons to be where it really _should_ have been at launch, and now with the 5th and 6th seasons it's starting to feel like a truly "good" game. People love to compare it to PoE but they magically forget PoE was _REALLY_ rough at launch and it's had a freaking _decade_ to get a balance down and enough content to keep people playing. I remember the "Piece of Excrement" days when it was discounted as a half-baked D2 wannabe.
The fact Blizzard still kept updating D3 _long_ after it was no longer profitable gives me high hopes D4 will receive the same. That will be hard for PoE2 to compete with.

NorthWar is a great build-maker but he needs to start talking on podcasts and not just nodding off. He didn’t provide any meaningful information on sorcerer in comparison with other guys/classes and that’s the class I’m interested the most. Wudi is a great host and I wish he did this podcast more often. MacroBioBoi delivered the most meaningful information about necro and a delight to listen to. I just wish the other guys were informative on the same level.
I said it would be cool to hold this podcast on the final day of the PTR to show stuff instead of just talking. Would be really informative
Dunno who the other guys are. But if they won't talk then what's the point. They need Raxx here or maybe Chronikz. But I guess wudi wanted all classes represented.
I don't think it's an informative issue, they're clearly just socially awkward. Not a great guest for any kind of broadcast.
Northwar isn't podcast material. Guy's too lazy to even speak, let alone provide meaningful insight for what the podcast intended.
Points made for progression are 10/10 by macro.
They have made progression feel better but as the barb guy said, the points are there but not far enough from each other.
Progression will be a bit more clear but when you hit that one point that macro references, you are basically done. And that point comes way to fast.
And after that point there is no content to test you anymore. You are just blasting faster and faster and there is nothing to challenge you.
The progression needs to be a bit harder.
There should be a step between ancestrals and normal legos. Sacred items that hit masterwork 8 should be the sweet spot and keep ancestrals rare.
Implement another torment level that is actually hard even for the best builds or implement an eternal power grind. Doesnt need to be broken. But if one is not in place hardcores and the so called blasters effectivily have nothing to do in a week or two depending on luck.
Keep these podcasts coming. You need a bit of work in the communication department, coordination to be precise. Wudi, macro, the druid and the barb guy were a joy to listen trading opinions. The sorc guy needs to up his game. Its not even actual real life contact come on. Rogue guy knows his thing but was waving his head in the "yeah" pattern way to much :p Cool guy though, want to listen more from him as well.
All good points here, but I think it's pretty unfair to say something about anyone here "needing to be better". Northwar, "the Sorc guy", has been a top Sorc and theory crafter forever and a day. They don't need to be more socially entertaining or comfortable in a podcast about game mechanics. I don't think entertainment value is really that important here, this isn't for casual viewership...you have Rhykker on the weekend for that.
What a horrible podcast, Wudi & Macro are on point the rest are dead weight.
Feedback on these long form podcasts, the questions need to be directed at someone & not left open ended. Besides Macro, no one talks.

What a terrible podcast, next time bring in people who actually want to provide coherent info, maybe limit it to people like Macro and Raxx who at least have some basic understanding on how to communicate with other human beings... It would also help to have a more structured bullet points discussion. Some people are better left behind the scene in the basement.
Trust me, Rax doesnt have a better understanding of Sorc as Northwar but he is not the talkative type :D

Having more than 5 boards would add huge multipliers to power, since glyphs are now OP.
The 5 board limit solves two problems: casuals and power creep.
Macro said he was hogging the mic but everyone else was asleep! And the dude that wanted strongholds deleted… wtf
That shit got me mad. The deletion of strongholds part. Like wtf?!
Hard agree with Macro on the strongholds subject. They're one of the most fun parts about the open world and that other dude wanted them gone entirely, wtf. They should address strongholds more and make them relevant beyond the xp part.
Edit: Also hard agree on the glyph affixes, but we all know Blizzard was just lazy about it. Why bother providing interesting effects instead of additive x% damage.
Cutting in half Glyphs added power solves many problems, including the being overpowered in T4 and the balance in character vs gear progression, and providing more challenge for high pits.
Great podcast.
Directing questions to one specific person and diplaying their names in the video would have helped me a lot.
I am a regular watcher of Macro's and Wudi's videos but the other guys are fairly new to me.
Wudi was a great host. He needs to get some guests who actually like talking.
The silent moments were so cringe. Wudi asking stuff and the others were each waiting for someone else to answer, lol. Awful.

I believe that glyphs were moved to the Pit to force everyone to play it instead of the majority ignoring it because the casuals don't care about masterworking like the 1%ers. This now makes everyone have to do pit and nightmare dungeons and now they can make statistics showing that the Pit is used as much as they want it to be.

When infernal hordes comes back no one will be doing nightmare dungeons.
It depends on how many materials you will get from killing ads, compared to live you will try to clear the whole dungeon and not rush to the boss, we didn't had the hordes to compare total amount of mats.
Really liked the idea to add a "clear a stronghold" with basically a full 10 tree credit. Would make an interesting choice between using strongholds for leveling and for the turn in caches at end game.
The way it is right now I either completely ignore strongholds (live) or would do all of them just to level faster (ptr)
How's that gonna work, you only do it once per char.
I didn't play the ptr but the new systems sound very confining to me. Your monsters scale with you so no fighting monsters many levels above you to challenge yourself. Too much reliance on finding the right type of gear or you can't progress. Not happy.
Runewords definitely should not have damage multipliers in them. They need to force some utility to be used bc utility makes builds more fun and less power creepy
You should have had ace of spades for Druid. Never even heard of that guy and been playing since beta.

I leveled a sorc from 0 to 60 in the S6 PTR test week and the leveling is much better! (wihtout exploits ofc) 3:30
I see this quite a bit on podcasts. Always try to direct questions to a person, specially with more than 2 guests and a host.. Its the same thing as "someone call an ambulance scenario" never ever do that. People are just gonna stare at eachother hoping someone else will do it. You point at someone and say you in the green shirt call an ambulance.
You guys are acting like people are going to have level 100 glyphs. Casuals are never going to max those out. You're going to find a LOT of people who don't ever get a full build of ancestral gear and max glyphs
My opinion, reduce damage buffs on items and paragon and reduce t4 hp to balance. The biggest problem they have is they missed the mark with the stat squish, we shouldn’t even be hitting close to the damage we were and I hope they change that

I had absolutely the same thought when i saw the bonus effects of the legendary glyphs. i don't understand how uncreative blizzard made the bonus effects

Hota can do 4B guaranteed overpowers every two seconds, due to the buff to overpower in base life vs life and stealth mechanics. How is that not good scaling. I would expect more from a maxroll Barb representative. Seems like another Rob just asking for more from the class even when it does enough. It does Pit 100? Yes. Of course it doesn't do that with the speed pf a minute like the broken LS sorc, but that doesnt not mean it needs buffs. It just means that LS (and some other broken PTR builds) need a nerf.

What is the background sound on wudis streams all the time? Is it a dog barking or a kid or something?
"SACRED 2.0" is a huge problem for uniques. T4 bosses hardly dropped any GA ancestral uniques and only being able to masterwork them to 4 makes them nearly useless. Right now you can find a nearly perfect unique with GA's and it can be better than one with bad stats but one GA but in the new system the one with GA's is most likely going to beat out even the best without a GA. A good middle ground could be that uniques could upgrade to +8.
If T4 bosses dropped way more GA's (at least 1 per kill) then maybe it wouldn't matter.

saying that previous paragon boards system is better is such a bad take, the 5 boards limit isn't great either but doing a straight line from 1 glyph to another 8 times is not "exiting" or great for build making at all, absolutely terrible and boring approach

This is a really bad lineup of people. Too many people are socially awkward and are afraid to talk, the only ones that are able to contribute at all are wudi and macro.
You need Rob for barbarian, raxx for an all-around, you for rogue, macro for Necro and that’s it. You 4 would make good conversation but I have a feeling that and rob don’t get along for some reason because you view the game differently.

Im sorry but this was god awful to start no one here has any ability to communicate and socialize it’s sad. The dynamic seems so far off especially if you guys work together at maxroll. And the barb guy needs to rebuild his guides. I tried maxroll barb this season ran ww then looked at d4 builds ww and switched same gear as needed both guides and the damage output was huge maxroll fell way off. They need to rework who is doing these guides for them.

Yeah the barb writer at Maxroll is a complete let down and needs to be replaced. Just look for Rob on anything to do with barb.
@@PingSock same gear as needed with both guides means exactly that each guide had different gear for final build. As well as MW differences. But that’s okay you guys live and breath for these creators that provide nothing really especially max roll. We can also talk about the Druid build landslide maxroll vs d4 builds guide way different and very different endgame damage difference. So I really hate to break it to you maxroll kinda isn’t that great and I’ve watched them all go over numbers and data and there not that smart especially wudi im sorry but he is god awful at crunching numbers in excel.

Not sure the guy's name, but he's the one to the left of Macro. The rogue player. He admits to playing THE MOST BUSTED build in the entire PTR and has the balls to say "I'd rather not see victimize nerfed" LMAO. That take is WORSE and MORE out of touch than even Rob's takes about Barbarian. And we all know how EXTREMELY biased Rob is about Barbs. Yet this guy is WORSE than Rob somehow. Lmao. Even Rob said on the S6 PTR during his stream about the WW thorns Barb that did infinity damage, "This is gonna get changed. This will NOT go live. This is OP and too strong, obviously." Well, the same is true of victimize for Rogues. Ugh. Your bias is disgusting and I hate that you have any influence over this game or its playerbase.
Then on top of all of that, this guy writes for Maxroll? Come TF on bro. This guy has NO credibility, clearly. He's clearly, "As long as Rogues are #1, even if it's due to bugs, it's fine, just leave it bugged. All that matters is that Rogues be #1." That is the energy that is seeping out of this guys' pores.
For example, in Season 4 I played a bleed Gushing Wounds based build with WWDD, and I *KNEW* that shit was busted OP and way too strong. I was doing hundreds of millions in bleed damage per second... just for switching my key passive from Unconstrained to Gushing Wounds. I WAS CLEARLY AWARE IN MY MIND that this was ridiculously OP and way way way too good and CLEARLY unintended. Even Rob said on some of his Season 4 streams "yeah boys this Barb bleed stuff is REALLY strong but we'll see how long it lasts." And then Wudi made his CryBarian video, crying about Barbs being too OP. And two weeks later, we got a campfire and patch notes showing the massive Key Passive nerfs for Barbarians. And now every build of ours is dead -- Whirlwind? DEAD. Death Blow? DEAD. All builds just DEAD DEAD DEAD. This is what happens when irresponsible "Content Creators" spout off about stuff they are biased about -- we end up getting BIASED changes that favor one class over another.
Well guess what. THAT'S HOW ROGUES ARE NOW -- they are the busted OP class now. All the evidence in this very podcast proves it. The nerfs will come for Rogues. But not yet. Blizz is still enjoying letting Sorc Lightning Spear players dickride their way to defeating the hardest content in the game. They gotta nerf Sorc first. But once they do, I feel Rogue will follow soon after. The only class Blizz will allow to be truly OP will be the Spiritborn, aka the pay2win Green Monk.

@@d4mephistoI don’t know man my Whirlwind Barb is probably still my best T8 Hoard clear this season. But, I agree if you care about pushing high level pits then yes Barb got absolutely gutted. I don’t run any pits at all though this season. The worst part about the Barbarian class currently is simply how gear dependent the class is. Almost every build requires 2-3 Ubers to be endgame T8 viable.
