So fun to see this stuff here in the US now. I lived in korea for 7 years And I remember when I was going apartment hunting I saw all kinds of cool gadgets like this in peoples apartments. Koreans are very particular about how they store and take care of their clothes (Also cosmetics refrigerators are a big thing). I think this particular type of device is relatively new but korea is fun for these sorts of gadgets in general
Yes I get the sense this would fit perfectly in the house in Parasite. Especially the way they label cycles like “school wear” 🙂
Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
I need to convince my wife that SHE needs this. :)
Same here lol :D I want it because it's cool but she controls the expenses :D
That’s my plan, but to my husband.
Just drop a hint to her boyfriend.
How did you convince her? Because I need to convince my husband we need this! 😂
This looks super cool! Would want one tbh
Wow didn’t know this existed. If we had more space in our nyc apt I know my wife would be on board as well.
Looks pretty cool! Already put one in Amazon cart for the wife to look at $899 currently. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for the video. This looks amazing.
Might get something like that soon. Great stuff
This is great mate, thanks
I'm dying to see your Holidays Shopping Guide video for this year
Thank you for posting this review. I have been wanting to get one but hesitated because I had some concerns. Your insight helped answer so many questions I had about the Samsung Airdresser. Great content. Now I need to watch for a good sale. Lol.
thank you! perfect video! I spend a lot of money in dry clean- I will be purchasing
What are your thoughts on using this in lieu of an iron for dress (work) shirts that are 100% cotton and khakis/chinos? I hate ironing and I'm hoping to use this to "iron" my clothes for the aforementioned garments. Should I wash the clothes and throw them into the airdresser or, if unsoiled, just throw the clothes into it after wearing them? I know it will not be as crisp as an iron.
Thanks for the video ! How did you connect it to WiFi ?
Great video, thank you. Are you able to do a comparison video, comparing the other home “dry cleaning” systems that are competitors to the Samsung Airdresser?
Oof that sounds like an expensive endeavour 😁
This is crazy! What will they think of next? Very cool!
The real secret weapon has been steaming/sanitizing masks. So good!
Great review
Pretty interesting...not sure if I would actually use it enough though
Yes very specific use cases for sure
hello there, can you use sanity fuction for suit? as it seems like sanity fuction use heat. Thank you
I’m so conflicted. For dress shirts, would it be better to wash them in the washing machine first? I’m mostly concerned about maintaining collar shape.
Does it make any noise during standby or when in use?
Is this an alternative to washing shirts? I don’t understand where dirt from the clothes goes?
This is something I would definitely buy if I had a home with a huge walk in closet and lived a lifestyle where suits and dress slacks were my mainstays. Right now it’s only $950 on Samsung’s site.
"only"?....
@@dogbsas - haha point taken lol.... Sorry for my tone deafness. but I’m a bachelor with no kids so high dollar gadgets are cool by me 😅
It’s full price is also $1499 so that’s a deal
Thank you for this amazing video! I will have a look at this immediately. Do you recommend any other brands? If it replaces an iron. I'll buy it now.
Does it replace an iron ?
I’d love to know if it removes wrinkles!
If I could even hang shirts & t-shirts on a hanger.. and return to wrinkle-free garments, I would order this today. 😩
I can’t find a lot of info answering this *specific* question when it comes to these types of machines.. although one reviewer said the LG Styler wasn’t great at eliminating wrinkles (which is the only reason I’d purchase), but.. maybe this machine is better.
How well does this release wrinkles? I absolutely hate ironing and/or using a hand steamer.
Yooo Ioving the haircut man!
But does it replace iron pressing? If it does then I'll buy
This may be good at a Dr's office depending on the cycles it's rated for.
I need this!!!!!
and the best review goes to....
Jeff! Thank you!
I'm thinking if you are a heavy dry-cleaning user that there might be justifiable ROI for this devise. I actually use a travel steamer quite a bit at home rather than getting out the iron and ironing board.
Would a shredded memory foam pillow survive or maybe melt and stink?
Can it replace an iron as Samsung claim on the website ?
Would you say that his is effective and removing smells from denim jackets?
Hair looking on point. Did you have to give it back?
Hey Kavalier, my names Muhammad
I’ve been looking for a nice tailored suit for a while, I’ve researched all the brands (and made sure to stay away from Indochino), yet I’m still having trouble finding a taylored suit that I can afford. My current budget is around 400$
My vision for a suit is, a tailored slim navy suit with grey pinstripes and peaked lapels. Also a nice tailored pant along with it. Any websites you could recommend that offer great suits at a great price and could take my style to the next level?
Love your videos btw man!!
Would you recommend this for business shirts? Like to get rid of wrinkles?
I have a question: how does it work with animal fur? I have a dog and a cat and my everyday routine is to get rid of all that stuff. If it can eliminate fur I'll buy immediately!
Perfeito! Ah, e você é lindo! ❤️❤️❤️
Is this my best option to remove wrinkles the dryer caused in polo shirts and jeans? Or do I keep ironing?????
When I worked in retail we had a similar machine in the back but it was a wayyyy less fancy version and it was bigger like a traditional two door closet size for steaming a ton of clothes at once before putting them out to sell! I’ve always wanted one!
Does it beat an iron
Could this be used instead of going to the dry cleaners regularly?
Do the clothes come out dryer warm for cold days?
What about dress shirts? After wearing a dress shirt to work, and then popping them into the AirDresser, would I be able to skip sending my shirt to the cleaners?
I’d still send them after a few wears but definitely helps refresh them if they’re not totally soiled.
Is this used instead of washing machine ??...
What about light sweating from walking to and from the car.
I wonder how this compares to the LG Styler. Thanks for sharing!
I was wondering the same
Did you try it on raw denim?
I love it. Not first.
Brian @ HSS did a review on a similar style a few years ago maybe 2016?...and I wasn't impressed. This one however looks way better !
Yes it seems like they’ve upgraded it a bit. I think his was whirlpool?
The Kavalier His is the LG Styler.
How loud is it while it's running? Could it be stored in bedroom and run it while I sleep?
Very quiet. I'd say yes
Does it do veggies?
In the UK this is £2000, that's around $2900 equivalent in the USA. Ans it doesn't even come with a dryer sheet compartment. We always get ripped off in the UK.
A New Life
I like the new haircut.
Can AirDresser iron your shirts? Thanks
Is it equal to washing , mean can it replace washing
No
Hi do you think it can replace an iron?
Very close but not entirely. There will still be wrinkles and issues that an iron will be better suited for but would replace 90% of your ironing/steaming needs
@@The_Kavalier thank you!
why on earth you would not show what happened to this blue t shirt which really needed ironing? was it ironed like then it came out???
I have to wash my clothes every wear now because of covid. This seems perfect for the medical community.
Yes works great for masks too!
Strxy rules the world. 😀😀😀.
I'd like to see someone do a petri dish swab experiment to test samsung's claim of sanitization!
Is this capable of cleaning dress shirt collars? Oil+grime etc? Or would they still need to be thrown in washing machine first?
This is not for removing oils or any other type of soiling. This is for refreshing and sanitizing garments in between washings. Think a light wool sweater or dress shirt that have been laundered, starched, and pressed and worn for a day at the office or night out. The same shirt or sweater can then be worn a second or third time by putting it in through this appliance to sanitize and deodorize it. The garment gets washed less often so it lasts longer and you can wear it more than once without worrying about the garment smelling like you've already worn it. It is also good for suits, jackets, and coats that get worn occasionally and don't necessarily require regular laundering. It is also good for items that cannot be laundered like leather jackets or duvets and pillows that are usually encased or covered and rarely washed or too delicate to wash. Put them through the appliance to sanitize and kill off dust mites and remove any odors.
Wow, stuffed animals. Brilliant!
What happens if I enter inside of the machine? I think I would feel cleaner and younger. Let us try the forbidden time machine.
If you're small enough, go for it
My jumper has a stain on it = steam Will not remove a stain
So I dont need to ironing anymore?
Nope!
@@The_Kavalier omg is this true? this works as an iron? would you use it on silk and cotton?
@@The_Kavalier then this worth every penny
@@chickenEwing take into consideration that you can only put a few items at once
That really depends on your personal preference. This will not replace an iron if you like your garments starched and heat pressed. If you wear garments that are made using wrinkle free fabrics or you're the type that irons by throwing your clothes in the dryer this appliance could do that for you but this really is a steam machine for cleaning, sanitizing, and loosening wrinkles. If you're like the former, you will want to give the garments a quick pass with the iron to get them to your liking so the appliance can definitely help you cut down on your ironing but you may not want to get rid of it all together for those fabrics that require ironing or a heat press like non-wrinkle free cotton poplin used for dress shirts that tends to wrinkle even after pressed.
Don’t forget that dry cleaning damages fabric and shortens the life of your clothes so this is great for suits.
100%
I disagree.. I've been in the dry clean business for awhile. Nothing wears out fabric more than wearing it (stretching, frictions, body stains- oil/odor/sweat).
@@eileenh8430 agree I use to run a dry cleaning plant and wear and tear does more damage than what you think dry cleaning does.
For £2k......i'll pass but great device👌
take my money
Not sure you can use the word clean, looks like a steamer to me.
Steamer w/ sanitize function
@@The_Kavalier ultra violet or detergent? Or does it use heat to sanitize?
@@joshuaupham5993 Heat and steam. No detergent or UV.
Too much
:)
Above anything else u need to fix ur bunions baby
I did. All good
Honestly it really doesn’t work
