Would it be possible to do a before and after with a couple of different mildly wrinkled garments so we can see how much of a difference it makes in terms of removing wrinkles? Please?
Oooh, thanks for doing a review for this! I've been pretty interested in this and I'm glad it's also not sponsored so it's your honest review. Thanks again! 😄
I have a Whirlpool Clothes refresher. It assembles in less than one minute. It steams my suits and ties. Been using it for 2 years. Does basically what these expensive machines do. Bonus is that you can take it with you when traveling and staying @ Hotels. It's approximately 25 lbs.
This is really amazing! I am definitely considering this after seeing your review. I have a basic garment steamer that I love, but I could see some major advantages to upgrading something like this.
Hello and thank you for sharing your review of this product. Clearly, I'm late to the party b/c I've never heard of this.🤦🏽 Definitely considering purchasing one. Peace and Blessings!
more info will be good on 1) what it does to cashmere, wool, linen, down puffer coats etc. 2-is it ironing at all 3-is there an exhaust pipe etc that you have to connect out 4- does anything for shoes (like running fabric shoes and foam?)
Just got my installed yesterday. The LG tech that delivered/installed advised that when I put a jacket with a zipper, to face it away from the wall, otherwise it'll scratch the wall.
it works great on silk - normally the "light" function gets rid of any wrinkles on silk since it's such a delicate fabric. if you have a lot of silk garments, this will come in super handy!
Unrelated to the steam closet, my wife has severe, severe eczema. She has been using dupilumab for about a year, and it’s been absolutely life changing. Incredibly expensive medication, but if it’s an option for you.. something to consider.
I been married for six months, and believe me it does the job. If you have delicate or expensive clothes such as suits or jackets it might suit you. Laundry services have damaged several of my suits, but with this device I avoid sending clothes so often to laundry service and I am sure they will have a longer life. Is not a must have but If you can spare the money, then buy it.
Can you elaborate more on your experience using the styler with your knits? Do you straight up dry them in the styler post wash? And how effective do you think it is for knitwear maintenance?
If they are knits that can be washed, I wash them in the washing machine first and then use the gentle dry setting in the styler. But since a lot of my knits are dry clean only, I normally use the refresh cycle to freshen them up, so I don’t have to dry clean them as often. Really great for knits IMO
Please do not buy, it does not worth it. The wrinkles stay, the clothes smell, it is heavy, consumes energy, time, no result, drying is also quite poor. I sent it back!
I won this machine because I sell some appliances. Tbh, I still don't really know how to fully use it and I sell it. Yeah, I know I should be the best person to tell you how to use it.
Thank you for sharing this! I'm considering buying one for our home. Do you find the area around the unit gets warm/wet or does everything stay within the unit? I'm not sure where to put it in our house.
I love it because it stays within the unit! It’s very heavy (literally like a fridge) so everything is contained inside. The water tanks are also inside so you can place it anywhere you want
Wow, there is soooo much markup on these: My employer discount is over 50% off MSRP on these... might have to pick one up so thank you for the review to know the utility as my dry cleaning bill monthly would have this paid off in about 6mo, haha
nice video! Just got the S5MB model and wondering what cycle did you use for your caps? not tons of space on the shelves so I guess I will have to do many times.
Thanks so much for this video. Do you think it’ll work for pleated skirts/ dresses? I usually take them to dry cleaners and it says dry clean only but would love to have something like this at home if it worked 🤗❤️
Hi, I just bought one and i'm wondering how well does remove the wrinkles? could you help me with a photo or fabrics that i could use to test it? so far i'm not having a good experience and don't know if i'm using it well or is damaged! thank you
Hannah, I dry clean clothes after each use. Please advise: Most if not all of my wardrobe is made of natural fibers I am.concern about germs, bacteria and odors. I want to know the length of time I can use this styler before I need to send garment to be dry clean.
This deodorizes and refreshes your garments, but it doesn't remove stains. So i would say as long as you don't have stains you can wear it a couple of times before doing a deep dry clean!
Hiya, I am moving to a new apartment soon ish. Hunting for a new steamer/iron. Would you say this could replace ironing ? I personally hate ironing yet it’s impossible to wash a shirt without ironing it, I work in a cooperate environment. Sadly I could get away T-shirt and jeans. Thanks
Yes! It says you can use dryer sheets or even spray perfume on a sheet. I personally like using the LG aroma sheets because the smell is stronger and works best in the styler
Would you recommend this for dress shirts? My husband wears dress shirts for work every day - so I'm always looking for a more efficient way to iron his shirts >.
How about it’s steam function? Sometimes I just want a quick and easy way to get wrinkles out of clothing items not safe to put in the dryer but don’t want to actually use my steamer. Can you hang like a wrinkly t shirt and does it come out without wrinkles? Or is the main purpose of this more for the sanitizing/ odor removing function? Thank you!
How long does it take if you just want a ironed tshirt without having to do it yourself with a steamer? Or is a steamer still the better quicker and better option. Thank you
@@HannahJYMoon thank you for answering :) which setting did you use? I was told to use the general dry, but I really want to get rid of food smell from jacket but also scared that I would ruin it 🤦♀️
@@HannahJYMoon Hey there! How effective is it replacing iron? There's little talk about that on the web, although that's the most interesting aspect of it. Maybe a follow-up video dedicated only for ironing?

Thank you for watching! I’m glad you found it helpful☺️☺️
Thank you for this detailed review! Very helpful in considering buying one 😊

Very helpful video. I am planning to buy this once I have my new walk-in closet done. Thanks for this. I feel re-assured.
Would be a great addition to a walk in closet!💯

Thank you for your review, I have been thinking go buy this for 2 years now….
I finally bought it and loving it! It’s much quieter than I thought.
Yay!! It’s not that loud at all and I believe there is a night mode where it’s more quiet. It honestly makes my life so much easier🥹
I have the Samsung one and really find it useful. Esp for knits and suits that just cannot be washed.
Great video and Love the hat selection of knicks and Mets
I like that intro music, like to play that in my new benz lol

ahhh hope you enjoy it!
Great review. I know this is an older post, but how loud is it? Say, compared to a dryer? Could you have it your bedroom and not go crazy?
Good review, thanks.
Thank you very much for the detailed review
I wear a lot of silks due to my eczema. I am thinking of getting this to refresh and steam out wrinkles between uses.
it works great on silk - normally the "light" function gets rid of any wrinkles on silk since it's such a delicate fabric. if you have a lot of silk garments, this will come in super handy!
Try spirulina supplements and raw honey with pumpkins, if not pumpkins then pumpkin seed oil. I think it will go in 3 months based my experience.

Perhaps you had your expectations too high?
@@serolog perhaps you have way too much money
Compared to having too little? That would set expectations high lol
@@serolog….for the cost of this machine, expectations should be HIGH.
@@kismet2354 high but not too high
Thank for this review ! Do you still need to ironing ur laundry ? I hope the Styler will do it for all my shirt, suits etc .. for me now

Hi Hannah thanks for the video. Does this work for jeans?

Who needs dry cleaning, when you got the styler lol
Lolll😆
I am absolutely getting one!! Thank you!!
😆😆 hope you like it as much as I do!
Thanks for the review! What would be the purpose of still going to the dry cleaners when you have this?
This doesn’t clean stains and doesn’t press
yes, it doesn't clean stains but refreshes in between, so I found myself going to the dry cleaners less, especially if it's not dirty!
Wow, there is soooo much markup on these: My employer discount is over 50% off MSRP on these... might have to pick one up so thank you for the review to know the utility as my dry cleaning bill monthly would have this paid off in about 6mo, haha
Ugghhhh I missed my chance at one of these in expresso for only $800 🤦🏿♂️ I should have just got it I need two of em now for me and my lady
nice video! Just got the S5MB model and wondering what cycle did you use for your caps? not tons of space on the shelves so I guess I will have to do many times.
I usually just put 1 or 2 on the shelves and also hang it in the back inner side where the knobs are!
oh yea, forgot about those knobs! Cheers

Thanks so much for this video. Do you think it’ll work for pleated skirts/ dresses? 🤗❤️
Exactly, saves the clothes and also saves water.
Thank you for the very honest informative video
Thank you for your review! Can I put silk dresses inside ? :)
Yes! I think the only thing you can’t put in is fur
Thanks so much for this video. Do you think it’ll work for pleated skirts/ dresses? I usually take them to dry cleaners and it says dry clean only but would love to have something like this at home if it worked 🤗❤️
See,s like it would be amazing for pleated skirt in that pant creaser portion of the unit. OMG so much easier than ironing pleats.

Thanks for the detailed review. Does it remove stain?
No it does not!
Thanks for the review. In your opinion, how well does it remove wrinkles?
It’s not as crisp as an iron, but it does a good enough job for my clothes & bedding! I would say it’s comparable to a steamer
I dont understand why your jackets come out “fresh.”Is there a science you can explain that it uses? Is it killing bacteria? How?
You never said if it’s worth it or not??
So this can't replace dry clean... I was thinking to go get one to dry clean my wool or silk even leather jacket...
Does the blue light kills bacteries?
Does it remove wrinkles good? Some of my sweaters is really wrinkled😁
It doesn’t remove it as well as an iron but for most of my clothes it does the job well! Some might just take a longer cycle
Can you tell me if you need a dedicated plug because it takes too much power? Or you just plug it wherever?
how about your energy costs- any higher? Like a dryer/AC high?
It’s a little bit higher but since I don’t normally use it daily, it’s not a drastic increase!
It could be offset by reducing the amount you use your tumble dryer if you take advantage of the dry clean functionality.
What about really long items, are the shelves removable?
does this completely de-wrinkle heavier good quality t shirts when they come out the washing machine?
Is it just a power cord and just refill the water tank? Or do u have to connect a water hoes to the styler?
Just a power cord & water tank!
Does it get rid of hot pot and korean bbq smell ?
Yes!! 😄
🤣🤣🤣
Im 💀rn 🤣
Can you put any fragrance in the styler ?
Yes! It says you can use dryer sheets or even spray perfume on a sheet. I personally like using the LG aroma sheets because the smell is stronger and works best in the styler
@@HannahJYMoon The LG sheets are quite expensive at the moment on amazon. Does it use 1 sheet per cycle or could the sheet be used multiple times ?
Yes they are pretty pricey :( but you can use it 2-3 times according to the box
Would you recommend this for dress shirts? My husband wears dress shirts for work every day - so I'm always looking for a more efficient way to iron his shirts >.
the wrinkles will be steamed out but won’t have those crisp lines like when it’s ironed!
@@HannahJYMoon those crisp lines only last like 15 mins sec you drive to work it’s gone
Yep u sold me
Will it remove lots of wrinkles in tee shirts and jeans???
Yess I just do a longer setting for jeans or thicker fabric but almost all of my clothes come out wrinkle free!
@@HannahJYMoon wow, good to know. Others gave it a poor review for getting wrinkles out of these types of materials
Does it work on shoes? Comforters? Dog chew toys?
i never tried it on shoes or dog toys, but it has a function for comforters and bed sheets!
use it daily?
Is it noisy while working? I'm so confused between this and Samsung Airdresser
It does make noise but there’s also a night mode where it’s a little more quiet :) personally haven’t tried the airdresser
How about it’s steam function? Sometimes I just want a quick and easy way to get wrinkles out of clothing items not safe to put in the dryer but don’t want to actually use my steamer. I have a lot of cashmere sweaters, would this work?
yes it works on cashmere sweaters! i refresh a couple of times in between my dry cleaning cycles
Can we use sanitary cycle on down jacket and wool? Thanks
yes, i run my down jackets and wool coats all the time
You forgot to talk about the aroma sheet features
Have you put down jacket in there ( monclear) ?
I have tried Canada goose and it works well on it!
